"A promise well kept."
After reading many reviews about Etihad Towers, I decided to take the leap and book a 5 night stay in a 'Deluxe King Room' and hoped that I would receive a truly 5 star service. Their "Stay Different" promise was not only kept but beyond expectation. I made sure, as all experienced world travellers do, to correspond with their customer care department and make some special requests (eg: high floor, corner room, alcohol free, etc..). they quickly responded to my letters, with brilliant courtesy and customer service, advising me they would do their best to ensure all my requests were met. Upon arrival I was welcomed with smiles, warm greetings and a cool facial towel and drink. It gave one the feeling of returning to visit with old friends. Check-in was a breeze as my bags were taken to my room and I took time to absorb the incredible beauty of the lobby design and décor...'Breathtaking'. I also had a deep respect for their portraits of the Royal Family with descriptive plaques. My room was like entering a wonderful dream with every amenity one could hope for. The welcome message, fresh fruit, bedside chocolates, bucket of ice, slippers and numerous vanity kits (sewing, shoe polish, dental, shower caps, etc..) was at my disposal and solely for comfort. The bed was huge, plush and lulled you to deep sleep as soon as you lay upon its soft surface. Movement sensors turned on the lights to the bathroom as one entered to reveal an expansive other room. The double vanity had a decorative selection of shampoos, body lotions and soaps. The shower recess was big enough to fit four people and the bath was just enormous and placed to overlook the entire length of floor to ceiling windows showcasing the sparkling city lights of Abu Dhabi. I chose to eat buffet at the Rosewater Restaurant and was overwhelmed with the multicultural selections of entrees, main courses, breads and desserts. The food was superb like having a long sought-after party on one's palette. The pricing (approximately US$30) was well worth the experience. Amongst the spectacular views, interior decorations, prized art, ease of access to all facilities and constantly refreshing modernised atmosphere, there is one characteristic of Etihad Towers that stands out the most... and that is the Staff. These wonderful people are true professionals at their craft of customer care. They take time to say hello and greet you at every turn and are happy to share their experiences while intently listening to yours. They give openly of their time and offer solutions and advice as to places to see and what to do when visiting. They have a pride in their work and promote their hotel with sincerity due to the opportunities afforded them in their careers. I took time to interview several staff and speak with the hotel manager and found they have respect and value for everyone in their outstanding team. Etihad Towers is an icon of luxurious service and a shining example of what a true 5 Star hotel should represent. To simply recommend this hotel is an understatement. This is a true 'Diamond in the Desert' and an experience one should strive to have at least once in one's lifetime. Capt. Ali Abdu Al Salam
Very welcoming friendly door men staff. Clean and neat hotel. The pool facility very nice and the private beach is great, However quite expensive as a day pass since they do not have sun light for tanning the whole day. The cucumber, Ice cream and small juice shot were very refreshing and nice gesture. Shower Facility near the pool not that much up to the standard, as well you can expect not having an access to their Steam and sauna as a day pass visitor which is disappointing.
The hotel is amazing. The facility is huge and outstanding. The hotel has private beach and outdoor pool. The lobby area is huge with grand feeling. Room is big, amazing and carefully designed with focus on details. The services are great and outstanding staff. I loved the stay.
Would have got a 4 rather than a 5 but a few "above and beyonds" get them bumped up to the max. good: Views are lovely. Possible the nicest hotel room I have ever had, big, spacious lovely. Definitely in the discussion about the nicest rooms staff were really friendly reception area was fantastic paid a really good price for the room gym was fine less good: location isnt great, not really that near anything for walking beach area isnt great either. Pools are good and unlike some I liked the fact that some of them were in shade relatively early. The beach area itself just is small and the water very enclosed and frankly not very inviting. The beach bit is the one bit of the hotel that isnt top notch. As I said the hotel was on course for a 4 - very good from me but they - let me check in super early, which after an all night flight arriving at 6am was so appreciated - let me check out 2.5 hours late for free (to check out later would cost, but that is fair enough) - gave me a room upgrade So they get bumped up to a 5. Overall I would definitely recommend this place, unless your main goal is a pure beach holiday. In that case go elsewhere. Otherwise, was really lovely.
The hotel is in a great location for business traveler, offers all the necessary amenities and very comfortable. Rooms are spacious, well decorated. The breakfast is outstanding. Nice pool area. Not much beach area but one can swim a bit nevertheless and the pool is large enough. The Gym is good.....a hotel I highly recommend.
