I came for conference, had to stay first 2 nights at another hotel, due to no rooms available. I checked in on Friday, early. Nice stay, nice hotel a big pool area. Pricey, but well worth it. Had a small fridge, nice bathroom.
I stayed here for a conference in November, the hotel is beautiful, the staff is very pleasant and the room was nice as well. I had a quick breakfast quiche from Bodega and hot chocolate from Strabucks. My room had a nice view of the pool area, which was a pleasant sight. I would recommend this hotel to others.
This is an excellent property wit well appointed rooms, Great customer service, and plenty of options for dining and social activities. I attended a conference here and look forward to coming back for a personal trip.
"Another disappointing stay"
Here I am an SPG Platinum member, pretty much forced to stay at a Marriott property against my will. This was here for a conference stay so my status was not immediately recognized, and when I checked in the front desk tried to have me move rooms on my second night of three nights. I probably should have taken the offer since the room I was eventually allocated was super noisy. Every time my neighbor flushed the toiled it was like the floodgates were opening. There is something obviously wrong with the plumbing since the shower was unintentionally giving a massage (i.e. there is excess air in the pipes). Other than the noise and the plumbing, the hotel is pretty much the same as last year in terms of questionable carpet and beds, except for a GIANT television. I can't explain that one since I pretty much never turn on the TV in my rooms, but perhaps it distracts from the dated decor in the room. Needless to say, I would never stay here on my own.
"Excellent hotel, amenities overpriced "
This hotel is beautiful, large, well maintained, and staff is excellent. I don’t mind paying more for something better, but the valet cost and self parking cost for a non-city hotel is exorbitant. We had 4 drinks at the bar=$100, at the pool $25 for a daiquiri and iced tea. Prices marked up simply because of the JW badge. The Bodega had nice quick breakfasts to go. That being said, the gym which is connected with the Ritz Carlton next door is excellent and pool area was well done.
