Excellent Hotel!Comment of S. JUAN, France the 2016-01-25
Very convenient location in central Pest, close to Andrassy Utca, within walking distance of the main shopping and entertainment area, and also a Metro station. The range, quality and quantity of hot and cold foods offered at breakfast is superb.Comment of H. Margo, United Kingdom the 2015-08-26
Very nice hotel with very friendly people at the receptionComment of B. Hendrikus Johannes, Netherlands the 2014-08-29
Very friendly and helpful staff. We only ate breakfast so not really in a position to comment on meals. One or two minor issues with the room, but nothing that would prevent me staying there again.Comment of S. David, United Kingdom the 2014-07-18
Alles super, vorallem das Personal. Das Badezimmer ist ein bißchen eng und im Frühstücksraum geht es auch eng zu. Ist aber sonst zu empfehlen.Comment of K. Patrick, Germany the 2014-06-18
Comment of I. Lionel, Belgium the 2014-03-30
"Excellent hotel but get a room off the street"
This is a fantastic hotel, elegantly appointed, superbly helpful staff, ideal location, everything you could possibly want as a base in Budapest. However, you must not take a room facing the main entrance street on Thursday through Saturday evenings. There is an Irish pub karaoke bar directly across the way that attracts huge crowds of young people. Because they can no longer smoke inside, they throng the streets outside until 2 am. The best soundproofing windows cannot deal with it. We asked to be moved and hotel staff was very accommodating, but the hotel is so popular there might not always be alternative rooms. Make sure about this when booking in advance. Highly recommended.
"Very Good Base for Budapest Sightseeing"
My wife and I recently spent 3 nights here. The location is excellent, being in a side road off Andrassy Blvd and within very close proximity of the National Opera House. It is central for most must-sees in Budapest. It is very quiet. Staff are very welcoming and the overall service they provide is excellent. Breakfast is also excellent and has something for everyone. The breakfast staff are on the ball all the time, clearing away dirty crockery and cutlery quickly, and readying tables for guests. Our bedroom was good, comfortable and clean. It was also on the hot side now, since the air-conditioning has been switched off for winter. Opening the window can cool the room down a bit. Would we go back there again' Yes, most definitely.
"Enjoyed our stay"
Great location and extremely helpful staff. Close to major attractions and very comfortable rooms. Very quiet location just a few blocks from St Stephens Very hearty breakfast on- site for a small fee.
Our friend made all the reservations through Travelocity and you would have thought we were second class citizens. I found the staff to be especially condescending and very unfriendly. The rooms were so hot (this is mid November) that we all ended up having to open the windows in order to sleep. When we tried to have their complimentary breakfast we were told because we purchased reservations through an online company we didn't qualify and we would have to pay. We did and it wasn't that great.
This hotel is right in the city centre but on a quiet street, the rooms are comfortable and very clean, the staff can`t do enough to help you, the buffet breakfast really sets you up for the day.Good tip if you are a senior citizen, the metro is free and some of the attractions are at a reduced price provided you show ID. so we carried our passports all the time.
