Well what can I say about this amazing hotel that I haven't said before! 1. A well run hotel with excellent English speaking friendly staff who greet you every time they see you ( truly a home from home experience ) 2. All areas of hotel are spotless, beautiful manicured gardens with plenty of luxurious loungers dotted around with plenty of space for sunbathing. 3. Once again I have to mention housekeeping as they do an excellent job. 4. Amazing choice for breakfast with choice of eating indoors or outdoors on the beautiful decking overlooking the sea 5. Reception staff great at remembering your name and always happy to see you. 6. finally pool staff also friendly and obliging....especially Monsef' Looking forward to returning 3 times next year to our favourite place!
"Never again "
The noise from motorway constant and unbearable even with patio doors closed .there's no air conditioning this time of year .the room is very hot .complaint to reception was told to either open patio doors or have a free standing fan in room.its 2:32am sweaty and awake.only managed 5-6 hours sleep in last two days.will be glad when Thursday arrives and we check out.this is the worst stay we have ever experienced in any 5* hotel across the world
Revisited this hotel with friends after a 5 year absence. Like going home to visit an old friend. Just a great stay from start to finish. Good location, great food, and relaxed and discreet service. Just a great break.
"nice beach hotel"
YES - good location: about 1 hour from Malaga airport and 40 minutes to Gibraltar - outside building looks like those in Maroco - big open reception hall - nice outside pools - good food in restaurant near beach - big and well equipped gym - profesionall staff NO - if you want to go near city Estepona you need a taxi or rent a car ( 10 minutes) - big unlike: also after 11p.m. is somedays big noise outside bar; one night there was a marriage in hotel; all night loud music... you can't sleep with open room windows
"Great hotel, expensive tho"
We stayed 7 nights in this hotel and we enjoyed the amenities (the layout, flowers and view of the pool). We booked the Grand Suite as we didn't like the Premium rooms with sea view. The hotel has a great pool, close to the sea and a lovely walking path, right outside the back of the hotel. The pool is big but we wish it was warmer. Very few people dared to swim in the cold water, keep in mind that it's impossible to swim in the sea of the same reason. We would have loved to swim in the outside pool if the water was warmer. There is an inside pool - but it's very small and mostly children inside, nice water tho. No jacuzzi in the hotel neither inside-outside :( The hotel has 2 saunas (wet and dry) which we used daily. The breakfast was good with champagne and fresh juices among the usual. We booked half board and we are not sure that it was that smart. There are only 2 restaurants in the hotel (one 'fine dinning'- not great food and expensive but great service) and a Seafood one,-good food but we got bored after 3 days as the menu doesn't change. There is Luna Complex 5 min walk from the hotel with lots of restaurants, which we couldn't try because we were bound to eat in our hotel. The customer service is great at this hotel. We would like to nominate FRANCISCO from the Seafood restaurant, who provided exceptional customer service to us and especially my old parents who have hearing problems. He just made us feel so special every time we had him around. Nothing he couldn't solve or provide. Just a great guy, with a great smile and lovely customer service attitude!! Thank you. This is an expensive hotel for being in Spain in Oct (at the end of the season).
