Upon arrival, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The front desk provided me with some restaurant recommendations upon my request and told me the distance to each location. The room was clean and welcoming; the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was well maintained and clean. In some hotels you can see in the corners that are tucked away how much wear and tear exists but you couldn't see that at this one, which means they keep it well maintained. I decided to order room service and their room service team was very friendly, thorough and informative. I ordered the food ahead of time and asked for a specific time for delivery and the nice woman called me a few minutes ahead of my delivery time to make sure I was in my room. The actual location of the hotel is tucked away behind a busy street which is nice and it's walking distance to coffee, restaurants and a grocery-like store. The one main complaint I have is that the heating system is a bit loud when it turns on and off. However, the hotel provides earplugs on the night stand for their guests as I suspect people have indicated the heating system can be loud, to help guests sleep better. The earplugs definitely helped me. Overall, I would definitely stay here again if I'm coming to this area. Just need to remember to use the earplugs.
"convenient hotel for business"
I stayed overnight at the hotel recently on a business trip. The location was extremely convenient to MIT and some of the pharmaceutical companies nearby (Novartis and Takeda). The reception staff was friendly and efficient. Wi-fi was complimentary. Fitness room was adequate. the only thing I did not like was that the bed was quite hard and I did not sleep as restfully as I usually do at high level hotels similar to Le Meridien. I didn't eat at the restaurant so I cannot comment on that aspect.
"Boston visit to MIT"
Awesome location! Loved the hotel. Room was great, and the restaurant and bar are really nice. We also loved having a supermarket right next door, and a Budget rental office across the street. We could walk to our sons dorm in 5/10 min.
"A good comfortable hotel for Cambridge"
We stayed there on points and it was cheaper than the sheraton commander. We got a room upgrade so it was nice (corner room on the 7th floor). check in was ok. We used the valet parking as it is only 5$ more than self parking. (40$) - Dont look for street parking here, you will waste your time. No shuttle service but Lyft/Via will take you around We had breakfast in town as this hotels proposed overpriced option for breakfast. (unless you status allows you to get it for free) I regret that an inconsiderate neighbor left its room service tray in front of our door (rather than next to his) and housekeeping did not clear the tray before a few hours... bathroom is pretty old but ok
"Excellent customer service"
Friendly personnel, very good quality-value for Boston. It's location is ver conveniente; the hotel is situated within MIT in Cambridge so it's a great place for visitors to MIT. It is also less than a mile from the Harvard Bridge so Newbury Street and Prudential shopping areas also within walking distance.
