"Very quiet for being in the heart of the city"
We had a business event in town that we needed to stay close to and this hotel was a few blocks away. We have stayed with Le Meridian in other cities so we decided to give it a try. The room wasn't large but modern and well appointed with a huge flat screen TV and work station... nice bathroom and very comfortable bed and bedding. We did not have a chance to try the restaurant but the room was very quiet and comfortable and the service from valet to check in and out was great. I did have to ask for a coffee maker but they were happy to accommodate that request and sent it up within a few minutes. Parking is expensive, around $70 per night, but I think that is just the rate in San Francisco. I really liked this hotel and the area and would definitely stay again.
"Great stay, great room, great service "
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful boutique hotel. The front of house check in lady Nikka was beyond helpful in making sure we had an amazing room that met all of our requests! She was also kind enough to throw in some complimentary breakfasts! Also the valet staff and doorman were very friendly! The room was gorgeous and huge! The view was breathtaking. The upgrade fee was totally worth it. The hotel is really nice and has a boutique feel. The restaurant is top quality and the food actually tastes great, whereas most hotel food is very generic. We loved staying at this hotel. The only downside is that its a little far away from all the shopping and you have to take transportation to get places, other than that, it was a very enjoyable stay!
Cindy R. and Cindy S. went out of their way to make my stay perfect!!! I have stayed at many beautiful hotels in San Francisco, but I have never had a more lovely room, or been greeted with more warmth and generosity than here at the Le Meridien San Francisco. My view of the bay was breathtaking, and the kindness of the staff was extraordinary! This is such a unique property in that the design elements are elegant and refreshingly difference than the norm. The rooms appear to have been recently updated, and this hotel is perfectly located if you want to walk along the Embarcadero, see the lights on the new bridge, or even take a stroll over Union Square. It is very close to the ferry building where there are all kinds food, and many vendors of all sorts. I can't say enough about how lovely my stay was! Thank You again Cindy R. and Cindy S. for all the hospitality!
"Gorgeous comfortable and convenient"
There are many hotels in San Francisco that are very expensive and don't live up to expectations. This hotel isn't one of them. I love it here. The rooms are nice and quiet. The beds are very comfortable. The hotel is only a few blocks from the ferry terminal and downtown. So, it is incredibly convenient. The bottom line is that this is a top choice to stay in San Francisco.
"Room spacious, nice view"
The room was spacious with lovely views. The bathroom was a little outdated, and bathroom amenities, but overall nice hotel and short walk to the water. Good location for business since it's in the financial district.
