"Outstanding Boutique Hotel in heart of Beverly Hills LA"
Stayed between Nov 4 - 6 before our trip to the Dominican Republic and we were super impressed with everything this beautifully appointed boutique hotel in the heart of Beverly Hills had to offer! First and last impressions last and we met with a professional and lovely male gentleman who due our early morning arrival did indicate that our room wasn't ready due previous night being fully booked, but as a true champ, gave us access to the gym so that we could have a hot shower and freshen up after a long 15 hour flight from Australia! Perfect. Upon returning after some retail therapy down the road at Rodeo Drive and lunch at Spargo we were surprisingly greeted back with a room upgrade to a Skyline Suite. So good!!! The fact also they acknowledged it was my wife's birthday and our wedding anniversary was also appreciated. The Skyline Suite itself was SPACIOUS luxury. It was huge! And for the ladies, the dressing room is something else. Massive mirror with adjustable lighting perfect for doing your makeup. Wife was in her element! Bed was super comfortable and the seperate lounge area was also great. The mini bar was one of the most high tech I've seen. As soon as you open the fridge, seperate layers of the fridge automatically come out toward you so you can view the full array of premium beverages that are stored for purchase. We did consume 2 beverages from the fridge but upon fixing this up at checkout were told by the same gentleman whom checked us in, to forget about it and he would fix the incidental bill for us! Wow! So good and very much appreciated. We didn't use other parts of the hotel as we had a full itinerary of shopping, dining and just to enjoy LA as we always do when visiting LA enroute to Mexico or the Carribean for our annual holiday. 'Bell Boy' crew or what we call 'Porters' in Australia were fantastic also! Always on hand to assist. Nothing was ever to difficult. Thanks guys! Overall, this boutique hotel is truly 5 star. The price of staying here isn't cheap but really who cares! If you have 5 star expectation and want to be delivered 5 star treatment and ammenities the Viceroy L'Ermitage Beverly Hill is your place! Look forward to staying here again in the future
"Hands down one of the best hotels in Beverly Hills"
From the moment we checked in to the moment our bags were placed in our ride to the airport the staff of the Viceroy L’Ermitage went out of their way to make our stay special and make us feel truly appreciated. The front desk personnel were extremely courteous and accommodating, the room service was spot on, the restaurant was superb and the room was outstanding with every feature you might expect and more. We had a street view room and yes there was a bit of noise but nothing that precludes you from a good night sleep. Bed was super comfortable and the mini bar was stocked really well with all kinds of alcohol (including brand name vodka and tequila) and other beverages plus all kind of sweet treats priced reasonably for this kind of hotel. The hotel is close to everything but make sure to plan your trips as the Los Angeles traffic can be a nightmare. We mostly used Uber to move around and our average fare was $10. We stayed here for our 25th anniversary and even though they didn’t know they make us feel so special it was like a dream come true. Can’t wait to come back! Thanks for everything!
OMG this hotel & the staff were absolutely amazing. Everything was perfect, the room was beautiful, huge & clean. The services offered by the hotel were great. We even had use of the hotel car to drop us off or pick us up within a 3mile radius. We had the best stay here for our 20th Wedding anniversary. What a way to end a fabulous trip, thanks to everyone at this hotel.
"Great Hotel, Horrendous Customer Service"
The rooms, location, and most of the staff are fantastic. However, the customer service is perhaps the worst I've ever experienced. I had a two day stay, and ended up having to leave during the first day. I was assured by the front desk staff that since it was an early checkout, I would not be charged for the second day. This was over a month ago, and I have yet to be refunded for that second night. Upon contacting their sales & revenue department, I was promised that the issue would be taken care of ASAP. It has been a month since this initial contact, nothing has been done & they don't even bother to respond to my followup emails. Looks like it's back to the Peninsula for all of my future Beverly Hills stays.
"THIEVES WORK AT THIS HOTEL BEWARE!!"
Thieves work at this hotel. Don’t book if you travel with iPads, iPhones or other valuables. They’ll vanish and you won’t get them back. If you read other negative reviews they all concern hotel security. The hotel was fine. But there are thieves beware!!!! My iPad was stolen and they have cameras and know who used keys to enter the room, but still side with their dishonest staff. My headset was attached to the iPad. When I went back to the room the headset was there but the iPad was gone! I am still waiting for hotel manager to contact me.
