A 6-minute walk from the MUSA underwater art museum, this all-inclusive, adults-only resort is also 4.2 km from the Museo Maya de Cancún archaeological museum.
This is a high quality hotel! Few points are: waiters seeking tips and impairing service in the absence (it is a all inclusive hotel, people are not always with money); infra could have more covered areas for rainy days; and the price that is expensive, although owing due all things offered. I totally recommend it for everyone looking for a remarkable experience in cancun!Comment of V. Breno , Brazil the 2016-12-26

The hotel, food and service were outstanding. First time for me to book all-inclusive/ adults only resort and I loved it. Particularly the different restaurants with their food choices and quality/freshness/innovation of meals impressed me. I gave sound insulation an "average" - our room was next to elevator and we could hear everyone coming and going, but that was the only negative thing. Also, the hotel put together a special party for the FIFA Soccer end game which was outstanding.Comment of M. Christiane , United States the 2014-06-25
"Awesome resort "
We loved Live Aqua! Rooms are high end, location is great and the food is about as good as it's gets for an all inclusive. The grounds and beach area were amazing and the staff was second to none. Our only complaint would be a lack of night life but you can always go down the strip to the club area for that.
"We maybe ruined..."
This was our first all inclusive and we were so very happy with the hotel, the staff, the grounds and the food. The variety of restaurants was great (the bidden garden was our favorite), but we thought the food and service was wonderful at all of the restaurants. The hotel itself is very nice and the grounds were very well kept. The pool was outstanding and there were plenty of seating options. The beach was also wonderful, but the strong currents kept everyone out. We will be back, but because this is an adults only, we will have to find another place for the kids. Lastly, we also liked the option of walking across the street to the mall. We maybe ruined for staying at any non all inclusive resorts. Thanks to the staff, who were always friendly and helpful.
This is by far my favorite all inclusive resort in Cancun crystal clear ocean, infinity pools, and the best food I have ever had at an all inclusive resort. Do splurge and get the upgrade to the cabanas with the foot massage it is heavenly.
"Live at the Aqua"
What a first class Resort in Cancun Mexico. Great service, modern Resort, the best Suites. I went on a special being offered and this was a great deal considering the quality of Live Aqua and the location. It was just a 10 minute taxi into downtown and very conveniently located to many attractions. The Resort had that "Hip 20's - 30's type atmosphere and very well decorated to fit this style. The staff was very nice, welcoming, and provided great service. The pool and cabana attendants are first class and might even become your friends after a few days of waiting on you :) I definitely would recommend this Resort to others. Even if there is no special being offered, it is worth the view, quality, service, and location. I'm looking forward to coming back another time to stay at the Live Aqua
"Good Food and Lots to Do"
This resort was surprisingly large, offered a variety of food (I think there's something like nine restaurants - no reservations required on all but one) and had lots of daily activities. I like to relax at resorts, but I also like to have options other than just lunging at a pool/beach. This resort had some midday performances at the pool by their staff on the water (maybe why it's called "Live Aqua" haha) and if you rent a beach cabana, you get a free 20 min foot massage with the rental. We split ours up for 10 and 10 so that two of us could get the massage. The first night I was there I got bitten by mosquitos or some other biting bug at dinner, but that was the only downside, and I'm sure that would have happen no matter where I'd stayed in Cancun. I was also sitting outside by a water fountain, so that probably played a role in the biting... Another delightful surprise of this hotel was that each day coming back from the pool or beach, they had a crepe stand where you could get one made before heading up to your room to clean up for the evening. Just a nice little touch on top of already great service. They also offered activities at night, like live music, which is a nice option to have instead of just going to bed post dinner. The gym was larger than most hotels. Hidden Garden had really good food and such a great ambiance.
