A 6-minute walk from the MUSA underwater art museum, this all-inclusive, adults-only resort is also 4.2 km from the Museo Maya de Cancún archaeological museum.
This is a high quality hotel! Few points are: waiters seeking tips and impairing service in the absence (it is a all inclusive hotel, people are not always with money); infra could have more covered areas for rainy days; and the price that is expensive, although owing due all things offered. I totally recommend it for everyone looking for a remarkable experience in cancun!Comment of V. Breno , Brazil the 2016-12-26

The hotel, food and service were outstanding. First time for me to book all-inclusive/ adults only resort and I loved it. Particularly the different restaurants with their food choices and quality/freshness/innovation of meals impressed me. I gave sound insulation an "average" - our room was next to elevator and we could hear everyone coming and going, but that was the only negative thing. Also, the hotel put together a special party for the FIFA Soccer end game which was outstanding.Comment of M. Christiane , United States the 2014-06-25
"The best all-inclusive hotel I’ve stayed in!"
I have stayed at various all inclusive hotels and I must say Live Aqua is the best (thus far)! This was my first trip to Cancun for my birthday and I will return and stay at LA again. We were greeted at the entrance by one member of staff, and quickly passed onto another member of staff who took us through the lobby, and then passed onto a third member of staff who took us through to the check-in desk - a bit extra but all the same nice. We arrived 2 hours early for check in but surprisingly our room was ready. Our room was classed as a Garden View, but there was no view of the garden - instead we had a partial sea view, and a view of the empty land next door. This didn’t bother us as the room was lovely. The beds are comfortable, the mini bar is great, with the addition of a member of staff coming round every night with a trolley of snacks and toiletries for you to pick from. Room service is 24 hours and has a good selection to choose from - the desserts are not the best. We only ate the the buffet breakfast, the sushi spot and the outdoor Italian restaurant. Restaurant reservations are on a first-come-first-serve basis, so there was normally a wait of 15 mins or more for all restaurants, bar the restaurant where you have breakfast - the menu is for an acquired taste! The chicken teriyaki rolls at the sushi spot are delicious! The Italian restaurant give small portions, but you can ask for double and the breakfast buffet has an incredible selection! They cook fajitas and paella outside by the pool each day at 2pm (one cuisine every other day) but only small portions so you have to be quick! The view of the infinity pool and sea are beautiful! As October is low season we had no issues getting sun loungers on the beach or by the pool, except from Fridays - Sundays. There seems to be an influx of visitors over that only stay for weekends. Prices for excursions from the towel hut increase during the weekends also! The Spa is lovely and we had massages on the beach. The hotel is part of Club Fiesta, a holiday system akin to timeshares, but better. They have reps on site that will try to get you to sign up by offering discounts on excursions in exchange for 90 mins of your time. If you’re scared of animals, this may not be the hotel for you - iguanas run free across the grounds and climb trees, especially around the Italian restaurant outside; lizards are in the grass; and they bring their parrots out for photo opps. All of the hotel staff are welcoming, friendly, competent and a pleasure to be served by - great customer service at all times! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
"Best place to relax"
We arrived on Wednesday, it was an amazing reception when we arrived, we have been here six other visits in the last three years, I am thrilled to my toes that the staff remember us and call us family, the food is fantastic and the accommodations are superb. The pools are amazing and so clean and warm. The staff are always happy and friendly. We will return again in the spring.
"Great Place for a Conference and Great Place for a Vacation!"
My husband and I have been to Live Aqua twice before, but we just got back from a 3rd trip where we took 40+ people; over half of whom attended a conference with us. As always, the service was impeccable. Ilse, our group coordinator, went ABOVE AND BEYOND, and made sure that even our most particular travelers were taken care of! Our room, the food, everything was top notch, and my husband and I will never go anywhere else in Cancun! If you get a chance to go, find Tomas in the Egos bar and ask for the layered drink, the chika, chika, tomasita! It's amazing!
This was our first stay at Live Aqua in Cancun. The results were outstanding! The service was incredible, the food was outstanding, the "your wish our wish" culture was great. The people in all aspects from front of house to back of house operations were geniunely concerned that their guest had a great experience...and we DID!
"Fantastic resort and experience"
We have been to cancun and other areas of mexico many times and this resort is fantastic. The overall feel and experience of the resort is relaxing but fun too. Nice rooms if you upgrade from a garden view. Excellent food and drinks. Loved the flaming coffee cart in the evening and fresh coconuts in the afternoon. People were very friendly and nice. Sadly, the beach was rough and not swimmable that week, but the pools made up for it. We would def go back.
