"Small and friendly"
A small but well formed hotel. There is very good detail from the chocolate next to the bed, attractive interior design and the comfortable bedding. There is a very small pool equipped with a swimming exercise machine. Which works well for exercising by yourself. The gym and sauna are a good size. The hotel is about twenty minutes walk from the Old Town but a few minutes walk will take you to a range of bus and tram lines. The area is very quiet and feels pleasant and safe to walk around. The hotel was rather warm and although it was only February I slept with the window open without being disturbed at all by noise from outside. There is a lift to take you to higher floors. However, people with mobility issues should be aware that the lift does not stop opposite any rooms. You will need to be able to walk down half a dozen steps to access the lift near reception then either up or down another ten or so steps to access a room. The staff were friendly and professional and there was a very good selection at breakfast. We did not eat in the restaurant as we had been to a Japanese restaurant the day before our stay but it looked good. The Indian restaurant next door serves very good food.
Stayed 4 nights in mamas boutboutique, rooms are quiet and spacious , beds are comfortable with choice of pillows which makes for a great sleep. The bath ...well bath I found too high for me im 1.70m and it wasn't easy to get in there anyone with any type of mobility problems can forget about these rooms. The lift stops between floors also so you have to carry luggage up or down stairs. Breakfast ..if you get up early before 8 you will find breakfast! Eggs, sausages, bacon, cold meat, cheese yoghurt and some basic fruit. We went down twice just after 9am ( breakfast finished at 10am ) and there was no hot food. And it wasn't replenished. Really poor service for a supposed 4 star hotel. This hotel has 4 stars because of the spa and pool etc but basic service let's them down. I asked for directions to the train station and the receptionist directed me to the bus stop which was going in the opposite direction to the train station. She neglected to tell me that I needed to be on the opposite of the road which was very unprofessional. She wasn't sure herself and couldn't be bothered asking. There was a different receptionist later on in our stay and she was much more helpful and professional. The sushi is fairly good. Not the best I have ever had but definitely not a disapointment. I wouldn't stay again because the breakfast just isn't good enough.
"A hidden gem of Bratislava "
This place is a lovely hotel, we arrived and was greeted by helpful and friendly staff, they offer maps to local attractions and offer information on the best places to eat, drink and sight see. Our room (305) was clean, comfortable, robes and towels included and bathroom to a high standard complete with deep bath and multi power shower. Fully stocked mini bar, tea and coffee. Breakfast was fulfilling and served till 11. There is also a sushi / Asian restaurant and bar in the hotel. We were told the hotel has a sauna and swim, spa facilities here to but unfortunately we busy sight seeing to take advantage of this. I would recommend this little gem located on the outskirts (10 minute walk to the old town) if you’re looking for a nice place to stay
Super hotel, cool staff, everything was so cool. Nothing to say in bad. Sushi restaurant downstairs was pretty nice. Parking places for your car is just in front of hotel. Locality is really nice and close to center. Reccomend 5/5
"Amazing. Amazing. Simply amazing!"
The most beautiful boutique hotel. We loved every minute spent there. Staff were friendly, location was perfect, room was small but so so luxurious. The hotel is small, so it makes it for staff to be even more helpful. Really nice gym, free delicious breakfast, fast internet & they had international channels which was great. We got to watch the BBC in Bratislava, sweet! They have a small pool, which we loved using. Had it all to ourselves each time we used it! We also booked the sauna for 1 hour, which costs €5 per hour/person. But so so worth it, after a day of exploring in the cold. Highly recommend!!
