"Luxury in Prague old town"
Prague offers plenty of choice in terms of hotels but if travelling on business, Mandarin Oriental is where it’s at for location, style, facilities and service. The property is built on the site of a former 14th century monastery located in the old town (Mala Strana) and featuring SPA and an Asian restaurant to die for. The Mandarin Oriental style can be seen throughout – understated luxury that respects and upgrades the building original features. Group Sales Manager Kristyna Markova and Sales Coordinator Groups Kristyna Horakova were absolute stars and made the whole planning easy and stress free. Kristyna H and her team were very attentive and responsive throughout our stay with only some technical hitches to do with our videoconferencing needs. That was the only downside to a generally successful and pleasant meeting. Our guestrooms featured welcome amenities, wi-fi and free bottled water which got replenished daily – great touches that were not lost on the group. The conferencing centre is absolutely stunning but with only a few spaces, availability may be hard to come by. Star property with very appealing prices. Looking forward to go on leisure!
"High standard in high price"
I spend couple nights in this hotel with my husband and what can I write' You can predict...Room was very big and comfortable. Room service worked twice a day, so before we go to sleep everything was on the right place - clean and shine. Breakfast huge - absolutely no-one can be disappointed. Location of course in the city centre, but another good thing about this hotel is that is situated in quiet area. And of course is very expensive, but luxury cost....
"Oasis in a converted monastery"
Prague is a romantic adventure. With cobbled streets and alleyways leading to a central square. Churches with classical music concerts in the evenings. The Mandarin is located on the Prague castle side of the river. A short walk across the bridge to the main shopping district. We were upgraded to the Oriental suite, located in the spa building adjacent to the main hotel. Unique and decorated with eastern influences the room was cosy with vaulted ceilings reminiscent of its previous history as a monastery. Very courteous staff and helpful concierge. The spa is beautifully fitted out with a glass floor revealing its old foundations below. Overall a lovely experience.
"Perfect secluded location near everything."
Loved this hotel. We just spent a 3 day weekend in Prague and were fortunate enough to stay at the Mandarin Oriental, Prague. I would not stay anywhere else in Prague due to location and service. We arranged perfect car service from the airport for an easy arrival. We were greeted at the door of the hotel and taken directly to the room for check in. We were with our 8 year old son and they had kid treats and comforts (robe, slippers, candy, etc) waiting for him. He loved it all! Concierge arranged tours for us and the breakfasts were perfect. This was our first visit to Prague and were looking at other spots, but we loved the location. You can walk to the castle very easily, and get to the Charles bridge in 5 minutes to go to whatever you want in old town, but the relief we felt walking back across the bridge, through the park or quiet roads and arriving to the hotel was perfect.
