"Excellent Hotel for Business Trips"
I stay in Marriott every time I have to go to Cebu for business. Their service is excellent, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is so convenient because it is connected to the mall making it easy to meet with clients in nearby restaurants.

We had a lovely dinner with my husband at the Garden City Cafe. The food was great! We loved especially the steamed salmon and the grilled prime ribs. We were well taken cared of by a staff named Charles. We'd surely love to dine again! :)
"Excellent Cebu Hospitality"
Stated overnight for a business meeting conducted in the same hotel. First of all, the room while a bit oohs seas clean, spacious and well appointed. The fridge and cable tv worked well and the free internet service was fast and reliable. Begins was clean and there was ample towels were provided u upon request. There only minor hitch is that the shower curtain was not sufficient too keep water within the shower area. There was a wide selection in their lunch buffet and the service was excellent. The waiters were alert, attentive and accommodating. The conference facility was good. Chaos were comfortable and conducive Rio productive activity. In the process I found out that the hotel Will be closed by the end of the year as it will be taken over and absorbed by Seda, the hotel chain of the Ayala. I only hope that once it reopens under Ouija numbness management, out will continue it's tradition off excellence.
"Post Birthday Celebration"
I had dinner with my family to celebrate my birthday and I had a wonderful time. Food was great and service was amazing, however, I would like to note that Charles, who served us during the dinner buffet, was very exceptional.. He was courteous and accomodating.. I do not know if he had a long day but he still has the enthusiasm to boot while helping us with our concerns..

If there is an option to rate just 1/2 of the star, I would greatly do it! I booked rooms for someone else (for my mama, my aunt and my sister in law) using my credit card. The online booking reservation went through. On the "checkin" day, I was surprised when they asked my mama for the physical credit card that was used during the online reservations. That was fine because I understand that they need to verify the owner of the credit card, so a lady (front desk) was validating the my CC info via phone call as I am currently not in the Philippines. I was surprised when she mentioned that they still need the physical card. I told her if I can pay using my debit card over the phone just to make sure that the reservation will be paid . BUT SHE SAID NO, because again, THEY NEED A PHYSICAL CARD! BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO SWIPE THE CARD ON THEIR SYSTEM! It was just extremely disappointed because they did not mention on their website nor on the email confirmation that they need the physical card during the check in time!. I find it very stressful for my mama as she is already 70 years old and they had a long trip prior the incident and they were not NICELY accommodated! FYI, I cancelled the reservation online (and of course they will charge my credit card for the late cancellation) and booked another hotel for my mama. I would NEVER RECOMMEND CEBU MARRIOTT HOTEL to anyone else!
