The Mirage Resort & Casino is located a mile away from Las Vegas Strip. The high roller is a stone's throw away and the Fountains of Bellagio are only 2 km away from the property.
Great location, great value. Somewhat surprised by the number of guests with very young children. Would stay here again.Comment of K. Marcy , United States the 2016-09-28
We traveled to Las Vegas in September to renew our wedding vows after 25 years of marriage and could not have selected a better venue to celebrate. We would stay here for sure on our next visit to Las Vegas.Comment of M. Stephen , Australia the 2016-07-20

Ich war schon 8mal in diesem Hotel, für mich die beste Wahl! Zentral am Strip gelegen, schöne Poollandschaft, im Gegensatz zu anderen Strip-Hotels sehr übersichtlich und dazu super Preis/Leistung!Comment of K. Thorben , Germany the 2014-07-19
The Mirage Hotel and Casino has a perfect price/position ratio.Comment of C. Giovanni , Italy the 2013-11-05
"Well designed hotel. Poor housekeeping."
The Mirage is a very well designed hotel. The property layout makes sense and foot traffic flows well (except when Cirque de Soliel lets out). The rooms are getting a bit tired. This would have not been so bad if they were spotless. Not the case. The windows were very smudgy and the carpet had peanuts and raisins on it. Luckily the most important thins -- bathroom and bed linens- were spotless. I think that this was an anomaly and I would stay here again.
"Things that make you go hmmm."
Great, friendly staff everywhere. They should pay them better. Nice room, quiet, clean and comfy, but the high intensity lights on the outside of the hotel shine all night. The blackout curtains have gaps top, bottom and sides, so you end up with stripes of bright light shining in your eyes all night. They need to provide sleep masks. Also, no in room amenities- no fridge, coffee machine or microwave, although you can pay an extra $50/day to get one. When you are already being charged a hefty "resort fee" of $49/day, on top of your room rate, its a bit much. And why must you run the gauntlet of a smokey casino to get in and out' For someone with asthma, the clouds of smoke everywhere were a health hazard and unavoidable. Won't come back.
"Mirage Volcano View is Elusive!"
We make a point of staying at all of the upper-end MGM properties in Vegas. This one is very nice - above MGM average. Below Delano, Aria and Bellagio but above Luxor and MGM Grand. Volcano rooms do offer the best views but remember you won’t actually “see” the volcano unless you’re in your room at 7pm or 8pm Monday to Thursday or 7pm, 8pm or 9pm from Friday to Sunday. Great blackout curtains, fabulously comfortable bed and roomy room. The cleaning left a bit to be desired but overall we were happy with our room. It is a VERY long walk to the rooms from the self-park. Be sure to ask for room away from the ice machine and away from elevator.
"Good place to stay"
When I told people I was staying at the Mirage, they seemed to infer I was making a mistake. I found the hotel to be quite nice and the several restaurants all where quite good. The beds and rooms are nice and comfortable. The bathroom could be larger, but that is the only negative I can say.
"This place SMELLS REALLY BAD due to cheap air fresheners throughout!"
From the minute we walked in the door, we were hit with a wall of smell that was nauseating. It smells unnaturally sweet and fake like a cheap motel or nursing home. The hotel is beautiful and the staff is great but the smell ruins the experience. Maybe they are attempting to cover something up...but its not working. This is in all the gambling areas and hallways of the hotel so you can't get away from it. Its not in the rooms thankfully. The smell in the atrium is fresh and clean. Maybe this is because plants in there are filtering the air. We visited the Wynn and noticed how clean smelling the air is there. I mentioned to a staff member that I wish our hotel smelled clean as the air freshener they use is nauseating. He laughed and said they hear people complain about the smell in the Mirage all the time. I hope management gets rid of their air freshener soon because I would not stay there again unless they addressed this issue. We had a VIP room and had expedited check in which was nice because there was a long line at check in. VIP rooms are also offered free coffee (which was from a machine and not so good), free water bottles and beer. After noon there was free red and rose wine. The red wine was excellent.
