The Mirage Resort & Casino is located a mile away from Las Vegas Strip. The high roller is a stone's throw away and the Fountains of Bellagio are only 2 km away from the property.
Great location, great value. Somewhat surprised by the number of guests with very young children. Would stay here again.Comment of K. Marcy , United States the 2016-09-28
We traveled to Las Vegas in September to renew our wedding vows after 25 years of marriage and could not have selected a better venue to celebrate. We would stay here for sure on our next visit to Las Vegas.Comment of M. Stephen , Australia the 2016-07-20

It's very nice. We loved the secret garden and dolphin habitat. My one complaint is that the pool is very cold!Comment of M. Amanda , United States the 2016-03-08

Ich war schon 8mal in diesem Hotel, für mich die beste Wahl! Zentral am Strip gelegen, schöne Poollandschaft, im Gegensatz zu anderen Strip-Hotels sehr übersichtlich und dazu super Preis/Leistung!Comment of K. Thorben , Germany the 2014-07-19
The Mirage Hotel and Casino has a perfect price/position ratio.Comment of C. Giovanni , Italy the 2013-11-05
we have stayed a few places along the strip, and this fit the bill. The pool was awesome, and location ideal. Decent selection of places to eat within. Liked the easy checkin, including the precheck (we arrived in town, had some lunch and bam--text says the room is ready). Excellent sportsbook too, with ample seating.
"Good place to stay"
Rooms clean spacious and comfortable Staff helpful and pleasant Lots of food options Croupiers helpful Cigarette smoke a bit overwhelming, a negative Position great Car parking and rental return on site Need more time out places to sit Coffee shop in mal to be avoided staff rude Pool and attractions amazing Live show spectacular Highly recommend much less glitzy than others
"Wonderful Experience at The Mirage"
Everything about our stay was wonderful. From the pleasant check-in experience, to beautifully appointed and clean room, friendly employees in every area, great food and atmosphere; we will definitely be back soon!
Should have gone with my instinct and stayed at the Aria. It felt like a minimally updated motel 6. I'm pretty sure they put us in their oldest room they had at first, it smelled bad and it was nasty dirty. I asked for an upgrade, because it was definitely not what I expected. They told me it was $35/night to upgrade, I didn't care just get me out of there. So on to the upgrade we go... again not what I expected. Dirty, smelly, and extremely small. I assume "upgrade" to them means pink lightbulb in the lamp on the nightstand and the air filter they probably by law had to install due to the over powering smell of mold. If I'm spending $300/night I expect a decent room to sleep in. Oh yeah... the beds were hard as a rock, worst sleep ever. The staff were really nice, that's about it.
"Good location but overall poor experience (3rd time stay)"
We had stayed here twice before and said we wouldn't return however decided to give it one more chance as we do like the location and the price was right for a thurs/fri stay. Checked in online (mobile) for the first time as the check-in process is notoriously lengthy in Vegas (not just the Mirage). Process was longer than it needed to be, asking for many details that were already provided on the reservation. I can understand that they need to verify however needing to fill in address, credit card, birthday, etc... seems a bit much. Once I arrived it was pretty seamless however nothing indicates what type of room they assigned (eg. King/Queen) so I confirmed with a staff member. We got a nice room at the end of the hallway with a corner view of the strip. Windows were quite dirty but it'd be tough keeping up with the cleaning. We were on the 4th floor despite a request for a high floor but understand they can't meet all requests. We had stayed before so knew about the small bathrooms. There's only about an inch or 2 of clearance from the toilet when closing the door. Shame they didn't bump out into the foyer space when renovating. Great water pressure in the shower and the bathroom is nice enough. There was no garbage can in the bathroom and there was no lock on the door (broken off). Wasn't quite up to our cleaning standards as there was a hair on the toilet and some dust and found a bottle cap under the bed. Nothing to terrible but could be improved. We had resort credits and unfortunately like other MGM properties they can't seem to get them to consistently come off automatically. I had to call once to have a meal removed and again at check-out had to stop by the front desk to get it sorted. MGM if you're listening please fix this. Last thing I want to do on vacation is contact the front desk and wait on hold or in line to sort out something that should be taken care of automatically. This has been a problem since we've been going to Vegas for the last few years. One major issue we had was that we left the privacy (do not disturb) sign on the door when leaving for the day as we didn't want Maid service or anybody to enter the room. Because of this we didn't lock things in the safe. The safe is vertical and wall mounted in the closet which is inconvenient for things like laptops vs the wall safes at other hotels that are located in the night stand. When we had arrived back to our room hours later the privacy sign was on the floor and the Maid had been in to clean the room. I understand that sometimes they can get knocked off the door but I ensured it was secure before leaving. Also I'd be shocked if anyone took it off as we were at the very end of the hallway with no foot traffic. Only thing I can figure is the Maid thought we forgot to remove it (may have seen us leaving) and removed it to clean the room. Not sure if they are paid by the room, lol. Luckily nothing was taken that we noticed but not too impressed. The Aria has a good system where the Do not Disturb sign is digital and set from inside the room. The pool is nice however MGM Resorts are really nickel & diming you for everything. To sit by the quiet pool it costs extra money. The frozen drinks are $24 each for a large size and they did away with the souvenir cups that keep your drink cold and no cheaper refill. Just a cheap plastic cup with no top that they probably wash and re-use to save even more money. With the resort fees that are charged you would think we could choose to sit by a quiet (or adults only) pool without having to pay even more. With the temperatures in the summer over 110 degrees they should have more shade available as well other than a few palm trees. Again they want you to pay for premium seating or cabanas. They did provide water in a cooler and cups however the water was warm and if you wanted ice you needed to get it from one of the bars or waitresses. Overall experience as you can tell wasn't great. Not sure we'll be returning to Vegas anytime soon even though we've been 4 times in the last 5 years for up to 2 weeks at a time. If we do we'll look elsewhere, lots of Hotels available.
