The Mirage Resort & Casino is located a mile away from Las Vegas Strip. The high roller is a stone's throw away and the Fountains of Bellagio are only 2 km away from the property.
Great location, great value. Somewhat surprised by the number of guests with very young children. Would stay here again.Comment of K. Marcy , United States the 2016-09-28
We traveled to Las Vegas in September to renew our wedding vows after 25 years of marriage and could not have selected a better venue to celebrate. We would stay here for sure on our next visit to Las Vegas.Comment of M. Stephen , Australia the 2016-07-20

It's very nice. We loved the secret garden and dolphin habitat. My one complaint is that the pool is very cold!Comment of M. Amanda , United States the 2016-03-08

Ich war schon 8mal in diesem Hotel, für mich die beste Wahl! Zentral am Strip gelegen, schöne Poollandschaft, im Gegensatz zu anderen Strip-Hotels sehr übersichtlich und dazu super Preis/Leistung!Comment of K. Thorben , Germany the 2014-07-19
The Mirage Hotel and Casino has a perfect price/position ratio.Comment of C. Giovanni , Italy the 2013-11-05
I ended up bidding on Priceline for a place to stay as we had a red eye flight out the last day of our trip. We ended up w the Mirage I will start by saying this is not a 4.5 star hotel. Maybe 15 years ago but now w all of the other newer resorts. Rating this 4.5 stars is being extremely generous. I would say it's a 3.5 star I've stayed at just about every hotel on the strip and I think some of the 4 star rated hotels were better. I'd recommend mandalay, MGM grand, planet Hollywood or treasure island which are 4 stars and cheaper. Mirage is very dated, rooms are old and hotel shows it's age. No grand lobby or wow factor , felt the inside of the hotel was very dark. Service was okay, pool area was crowded, hard to get a chair unless you wanted to pay $65 per chair to rent one in the reserved area. Small elevator banks and low ceilings which gives a confined feel. No fancy tiles or art, carpets throughout. Small guest rooms w small bathroom and furniture showed a bit of wear and tear. Windows are not panoramic. Pros The property was clean w a lot of food options. Not a bad choice for first time in Vegas if you're not looking for super fancy or trendy. Easy mobile check in, room was ready earlier than expected. Good view of strip from the room.
"Fabulous First Las Vegas stay"
My girlfriend and I arrived in Vegas on 9/17/17 and checked in at the Mirage. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite which was awesome since her sister was coming in to visit as well. The suite was excellent; very spacious and clean, mini bar was stocked. Seriously, if you have the chance to upgrade, it is worth it! Such a treat. The next morning we ordered room service breakfast which was delicious and fast to be delivered upon ordering. We then spent the day by the Oasis pool (you need to reserve your seat). The pool was absolutely stunning. The oasis is a private section of the pool so it is much quieter and relaxing from the main pool, and definitely worth the money. The cabana boy, Miles showed us to our chairs, and set everything up for us, he was such a sweetheart. Our Cabana host for the day was Ariel and she was absolutely amazing. She was very busy throughout the day because the pool was packed, but you would have never known she was busy because she was so attentive to every one of her guests. She really made our day special. Our day ended with seeing the Beatles Love show. That was awesome! The next day we ended up going to the airport and our flight getting cancelled, so we did a quick search on aaa website to get a last minute hotel deal until our rescheduled flight. We made the mistake of booking a different hotel on the strip (will not mention that hotel name) and it was very disappointing. As soon as we checked in there, we were comparing everything to the mirage, and then decided to just check out and go back to the Mirage. We called Mirage and they booked us a run of the house room for 2 nights. The room was very nice and clean and the beds very comfortable. We had dinner that evening at Heritage Steak which was delicious. One of our waiters, Sam made the evening wonderful. He sent us a variety of sauces to our table for our steaks, and then told us the history of the Mirage and gave us some suggestions of what to do around Vegas. Just so nice. The last thing I have to say in general is that the staff not only at this hotel, but at all the establishments inside it are all top notch. Also, if you stop at the Rhumbar for slushies, Kimmy is the sweetest girl. We enjoyed getting to know her and she makes very good drinks. Thank you Mirage for making our first time in Vegas memorable, we hope to come back in the future!
The Mirage is one of my favourite spots to play slots - so we decide to try the rooms too. The rooms were great, and the bed was top-notch, and the pool is excellent - great pool side drink service! Mirage is a great place to stay because it is higher-end but quite reasonable with regard to room rates and a good range of in-hotel restaurants and bars. Its 'fancy' but not '12-dollar-coffee-fancy" with an ideal location on the strip.
"Appreciate good service and great room"
Front desk help (Isha, especially) was fast, efficient and friendly. Also, the MLife desk clerk (Jessica) was most helpful. The casino remains one of our favorites (design, choice of slots, super poker room). Restaurants always get an A for service and food. The pool was refreshing rather than being luke warm...a nice feature in the heat of September. Rooms are always clean, comfortable (pillows could be a bit softer/smaller), with lots of storage space. Hope to stay longer next time. NOTE: Bathroom needed upgrading, esp. bathtub.
Check in was quick, we upgraded to a "staywell" room which has aromatherapy and "mood lighting" the room was OK but I'm not sure it was worth the price to upgrade, the room was very spacious apart from the bathroom which was quite small and the towels although plentiful are really small, no bath sheets more like bath towels, no tea or coffee making facilities in the room and beware the minibar, everything in it is weight sensitive aparantly if you even pick something out of it to just look it gets charges to your room automatically, also our bathroom wasn't cleaned properly before we arrived, the toilet roll holder was full of dust and I found d somebody's contact lense on the floor, we stopped in the hilton in San Francisco before we came here which was excellent and we sort of expected the same sort of thing here at the mirage but we didn't get it, be prepared to pay the "resort fee" as well which basically means you are paying $35.00 a night for wifi, as this was our first time in Vegas we thought we ought to stop in a well known hotel if we were to come here again I would think about staying at a cheaper hotel which is still in the middle of the strip like ballys as it's only a place to sleep when you're in Vegas. I hope I haven't been too mean to the mirage as it is a really nice hotel but to me it's just not worth the money to stay here.
