"Great choice for family vacations"
We stayed at Nautilus for 8 nights from June 27 till July 5 with our 9 years old daughter. The beginning of our stay was great with efficient check in and a nice room on the 7th floor. During our stay, the service at the restaurant/bar/pool areas was very good. We have experienced delays in room cleaning and car valet services but we believe that they were reasonable and acceptable for the specific period. The design of the hotel was excellent and the pool and beach areas were great. The last two nights of our stay were disturbed by a power failure and a water leakage. In the middle of the night of the 3rd of July, the electricity (and therefore the air conditioning) went off. The night of the 4th of July, after coming back from our dinner, we had to pack our things and check out from the hotel. The hotel's staff helped us out in order to move to another hotel for the last night of our stay without any extra changes. The staff of the hotel were under a lot of pressure but they really tried to handle the situation to the maximum. We can understand that there were two consecutive unforeseen events in a very short period but a better contingency plan is needed for such cases. Finally, we need to point out that the management of the hotel has immediately responded to our emails in order to settle the matter of the last two nights. Special thanks to Michelle Tannetta. We are surely going to stay again in Nautilus in the future.
"Great beach service "
Adrian was a fantastic host for us on the beach. Appreciate your service. Hotel staff were friendly but Adrian was especially accommodating to us. Beach chairs and towels were clean and soft, service was great all around
"Good hotel in a Great location"
My wife and I stayed here two nights Post Cruise out of Miami Port. The front desk people are very friendly and check in was a breeze. The room was a good size and very modern and the bed was super comfortable. The highlight of the room is the mini-bar hutch. They have a huge work out gym on the second floor and I could not believe the amount of equipment. On the lobby is a coffee/treats place by the front door (excellent coffee). There is also a lobby bar which is open at night and serves really good mixed drinks. I would recommend that at least once. We did not try the restaurant by the pool but ate at the pool and found the food to be very good. I would assume it is the same food. The pool is amazing 5 star and could easily do that year round, the staff are hard working and dedicated to make your say enjoyable. The pathway to Miami beach is unique and I am sure everyone has a picture they use as a screen saver. The only complaint is the pool bar/food service. The girl will give you a menu and never come back. Both days I ended up going to the pool bar to get served drink or food. They all seem to just hang out at the bar talking all day or walking around the pool not asking you if you actually want something. Miami Beach is amazing also and the hotel has good chairs and umbrellas for use (pay for umbrella).
One of the nicest hotels i have stayed in.Over the 2 days the hotel had some issues, power outage and a fire however the staff were brilliant in the way they looked after things. the rooms are beautiful clean with everything you could need. The pool ares and beach are really well appointed. Service excellent.Drinks and food at the pool very good.Great location. Would love to go back. The staff make the place
"Hotel Evacuation - No Reimbursement"
I stayed at the Nautilus over July 4 holiday. The power went out for 18 hours on July 3. No elevators, no ability to open door to access beach, no ability get in from beach with key card reader out. A day later, on July 4, the fire alarm went off at 11PM. Everyone was evacuated out of their rooms. After 45-50 minutes of inspection by the fire department, the hotel told everyone in rooms 0-25 to evacuate and they would find us new rooms. Anyone in 25+ could stay in the hotel with no water of power. People rushed to their rooms, when I got to mine on 5th floor, hotel was flooded, see photo. When I got to lobby, it was chaos, I asked someone at the front desk to book me a new room, he said he couldn't, power and internet was out. I booked another hotel down the street with my remaining phone battery, when I asked the hotel to reimburse me for the new room, bought at 1AM, walked to, they would not. Am outraged. I was forced out of my room at midnight, replaced the room and the hotel refuses to reimburse me for the new room. This is what you can expect at Nautilus, a joke of poor management, fire risk and dysfunction.
