"Good tourist / business hotel"
I've stayed at many NH properties and this NH is pretty standard. Good value for money. Housekeeping very good, quiet room (Jr. Suite), the breakfast was average, checkin was fine. The property is located just a block away from a large government building and there is a heavy police presence 24/7. My only complaint would be the bathroom design. The shower door design is poorly designed and water leaks everywhere. Other than that, good stay not fantastic.
"Not the best"
My first impression of this hotel was very good until we tried to check in. After we patiently waited for approximately 20 minutes to check in, we were rudely pushed aside so that someone else could be taken care of that had just walked up to the front desk. Jennifer was extremely rude to my son in telling him he could wait. We had just spent most of the day on a plane and were quite disgusted with the attitude we were given. When we finally got to our room, we discovered that room was not what we had reserved and instead of receiving the 2 beds, we were given a king size bed to share. This was not acceptable! When we finally were given the correct room, we found that our cards were not activated and we were unable to get into our room. Once again, we had to make another trip to the front desk. Of course, no apologies for continually adding to our already tiring day! When we finally were able to access our room, we did not have an adequate number of towels or washcloths. My son called the front desk and was told towels would be sent up. An hour later, my son had to go down to the front desk to find out why we never received towels and was told that the hotel did not have any and that laundry would have to be done in which they made him wait while they did laundry. The next day, after a long day of sight seeing, we were unable to access our room as the cards did not work. My son had to go back down to the front desk to have them activated. This happened every day and we were given an excuse that we must have did something to the cards in which we had not! I find it quite unprofessional to accuse your guests. In all honest, I would have given this hotel a negative rating if it weren't for the fantastic services of our concierge, Jessica. Jessica went above and beyond to make our stay in Mexico City a wonderful experience. I can't say enough great things about Jessica! This hotel is lucky to have her!
"Hotel is modern and spotless, service could be warmer"
We stayed at the suite in one of the upper floors. So modern, tastefully decorated and spacious. We almost did not want to leave. Breakfast selection is incredible; although overpriced for what is reasonably consumed. Drinks at bar are excellently priced and intimate for a couple at the time we arrived. Will definitely book this hotel when travelling again to Mexico.
I stayed for 4 nights with a friend in a superior double room. Kind and helpful staff. Overall a good experience. The hotel is within walking distance to Paseo de la Reforma. Plenty of restaurants, bars and other amenities nearby.
"Good option in a excelent part of town, except in Winter !"
Fantastic breakfast and service, but it does not have heating throughout the hotel or in the rooms, so in January the stay becomes almost unbearable. When requesting a heater / stove / electric screen, etc. for the room, the answer was that they do not have! The pool is exterior, so it can not be used without a cold.
