Stayed at the Niebieski Hotel for my 5th trip to Krakow. This time was with my eldest children. Lovely views and as we had sunny weather, the walk into the city, via the riverside was a pleasure. Service was very good, as were the rooms. Breakfast was good and the staff were all helpful. The garden area was drenched in sunshine all afternoon and we enjoyed a well deserved drink after our city walks on many occasions.
"Lovely hotel, perfect for a short break"
Stayed at this hotel between 18th and 21st May after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor and was not disappointed. The location is ideal, about a 15 minute walk from the Old Town, 10 minute walk from Wawel Castle and 20 minute walk from the Jewish quarter. The walk is along the riverside and is very scenic. Staff were excellent in every department. The rooms were modern, spacious and spotlessly clean. Did not use the restaurant but if the freshly cooked items from the breakfast menu were anything to go by then the quality would be excellent. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
"Friendly and clean hotel"
We had a great stay here. Rooms were good size and cleaned everyday. Plenty of choice at breakfast. The service was very friendly. The Italian restaurant was very good for food, great for pizzas to share and to sit in the pretty courtyard. Location was very good with a 15mins to the old town alongside the lovely riverside. The only gripe was some of my friends rooms struggled to keep temperature of their room down and the showers ran cold water quite quickly once using.
This is an excellent hotel in a quiet location about a 15-minute walk from the centre along the river. Our room was quiet, spacious and clean and had a lovely view over the river, comfy bed, kettle and complimentary tea and coffee, safe (although that functioned with the room card and we never managed to get it to work), minibar and TV with international channels. The bathroom had a good shower and nice toiletries. Breakfast, which was served from 6h30 to 10h30, had a good selection of hot and cold food and was included in the room rate. The spa (sauna, hammam and "quiet room", plus massage services) was open from 10h to 21h and was impeccably clean and well maintained. You are allowed free use of the facilities for one hour per day upon reservation. Our massages were very good! There is also a small, but perfectly adequate, fitness room. Bikes (and kayaks) can be rented from reception and we had a lovely ride along the riverside cycle paths. All members of staff were, without exception, very friendly, helpful and charming and spoke very good English. There was a wedding on the Saturday night of our stay and the hotel wrote to inform us of this beforehand, which we appreciated. We were a bit worried about the potential noise level, but in the end there was no problem. We loved both Krakow and this hotel and would definitely return!
The hotel was part of a package including tours, we had 3 fantastic days. Hotel clean and tidy and very good value. Rooms spacious and well equipped and ultra modern. very friendly and helpful staff at reception. The hotel is a five minute taxi ride to the centre, in dry weather a walk along the river bank which is tarmac very wide is recommended.
