"Disappointing No food on arrival"
We arrived by coach and so there were alot of rooms booked, so you would expect that a hotel would provide for their customers appropriately. We were told on arrival that there was no food and we would have to walk down the road to find some other restaurants. The roads were busy roads and so some people just went hungry. They didn't tell us that we could have room service or bar food. By chance, when ordering a drink we found that there were bar snacks, we were charged for large drinks and large portions even though we hadn't asked for them and had to leave them, the chicken was also very greasy . We had a hotel meal one night and it consisted of a choice of cheap pasta dishes. The bedroom overlooked some skips and when I complained about the stains on the bathroom sink, I was told that they were henna stains and that the room was due to be refurbished. Nobody aplogised from the hotel and you had the feeling that they couldn't care less and were trying to do things as cheaply as possible, rather than aiming to give a good customer experience.
"So far, really dissapointing"
We checked in today. Ate at the restaurant,- or tried to. Ordered sirloin that was full of fat, looked like a pork chop, tasted of nothing along with unseasoned red wine sauce. Dessert was a "parfait", or well, just a half spoon of ice cream, two cookies and pineapple from a can. Very very disappointing. Went to our room, took a shower and decided to order a pizza from the 24/7 room service. It was 23.30 but apparently their 24/7 room service is not 24/7. When it is open, I don't know. But everything in our room says like on this sign. You just can't order the food. So now we will go hungry to bed. And no, we won't eat at the hotel tomorrow and we will for sure not be back. It's simply not worth the annoyances when you know how many hotels there is in the area.
"Excelent for working nights"
Very good for some nights on the office for work, Be aware that rooms close to doors can be noiseer ... Make sure you close the "extra" door on the room to avoid noise, clean and comfortable big bed Good breakfast options
"Disastrous ending of the stay and total disappointment"
First of all we arrived there late in the evening, really tired and exhausted. The receptionists haven't received my request for twin beds in a double room so we got a double bed. We didn't complain about that and proceeded with the check-in. They asked for a credit card upon the arrival telling me that the one they had in their system was cancelled (yet I had updated my card details on booking.com) - I gave to the receptionist my debit card so she could update it, but as I realised upon my chek- out they have put an authorization hold on my debit card and specifically for the whole amount available on my bank account (at least let's say I would understand it if it was an authorization hold for the cost of the room for the whole stay) . Long story short, I couldn't pay my share on the check-out because my credit card was declined from the system (since there was no money available due to the authorization hold) and ofcourse the staff didn't inform me about the authorization hold. I called my bank and found out it through them that this happened, I informed the receptionists and they called their bank to cancel the hold - but this can't happen instantly and especially on a Sunday (even though they emailed me the cancellation).... So my holiday ended up was bitter sweet with very little cash on my wallet, not beeing available to grab a bite or shop souvenirs and ofcourse owing money to my friend paying for the whole stay in the end. This was disastrous and I don't want anyone to experience such things.
"Unpleasant surprise, in the end well handled"
Animals: €25 per night. Upon arrival, we were unpleasantly surprised by the high price we had to pay for our dog. That the prices are in general high we slowly get used to, but this topped it all. The lady at the reception told us the price was mentioned in the confirmation email from Hotels.com, which wasn't the case. Nothing, however, could be done at least that evening. The next day, a colleague was more friendly and offered us a somewhat lower price. The gesture was very nice! The rooms are a little bit outdated but the breakfast was good and the rest of the hotel did the trick for a night stay. Beds were fine and we had no complaints about noise etc.
