"Excellent place to stay."
A perfect spot. Centrally located, our taxi driver knew exactly where to take us. Walking distance to shopping and dining, right next to St. Stephan's Green. Our room was clean, comfortable, well appointed. Everything worked properly, no little glitches. Nice and quite at night. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and we very much enjoyed the breakfast buffet.
"Good location but bizarre breakfast arrangement"
Stayed in this hotel for business. At the moment, there are renovation works in the bar area so some disruption was flagged. The rooms were comfortable and the free WiFi good quality. I had room with an excellent view over the Green and this worth asking for. There is no gym and little other hotel amenities, however, the location is excellent. However, my parting memory was the bizarre breakfast arrangement. For our pre-paid breakfast we were only permitted to have the contential or the cooked breakfast - not a bit of both (i,e Fry and Coffee, but no bread, no orange juice, no fruit! This is only time I have come across this arrangement throughout the hundreds of hotels that i have staying in and really detracted from the stay, particularly given the high cost of the room for the night.
Perfectly acceptable in all ways. Our room had a lovely balcony, which suited me as I am a smoker. Delicious breakfast. Hotel clientelle consisted mainly of folk on bus tours. Well situated for walking to most town-center attractions Nice place.
"Nice Place, Lovely Room, Helpful Staff"
Nice Location off Stephens Green well removed, but within walking distance of the Temple Bar action, be aware that the AirLink driver does not know where this is and will advise you incorrectly of a similarly named, far less appealing place closer to the Liffey, you need to be dropped at Stephens Green and walk west to Harcourt Street. Note they will try to sell you tour
"Couldn't be more accommodatiing"
Stayed here on a Sunday evening with a 1- year old and my partner. Hotel seemed quiet, though that said, the bar and restaurant are closed for renovations. Don't let this put you off as it is in the centre of the city with great bars and restaurants on the doorstep. When we stepped out of the room and came back, one of the panels from the ceiling had come away, these things can happen anytime anywhere, we were not overly bothered and certainly no need to make a song and dance over. We phoned reception who sent people to the room immediately and had no problem moving rooms, this was no problem for us. The staff could not have been more helpful, in particular a Scottish lady who was so good to us and our young son, making us feel particularly welcome and giving us a play mat for the little chap. The room itself was very spacious, furniture was fine, bed was really comfortable, room was silent, air conditioning worked perfectly, bathroom was exceptional, toiletries of a high standard, ironing board, hairdryer provided. Tom was worldly clean throughout. Two small things, selection on tv wasn't great and the isn't a fridge. But again not a reason to take anything away from the hotel. For what is primarily a business hotel, they went above and beyond to cater for a young family. I will not hesitate to return or to recommend to friends.
