"Next to the metro"
It is an ok hotel , friendly staff and average breakfast. It's location is not the best but as it just next to a metro that compensates it, still nothing nice in a walking distance. All and all good value for tour money .
Good staff at the front desk but that is it. The location is not good. There is a metro station very near but the surrounding area is indifferent. The rooms are old and not so clean. Not a good choose
"Two-night stop with Trafalgar"
We had a nice and updated room on the 13th floor. Queen bed, updated shower. However, there was no place to put soap or shampoo in the shower, which is odd. The air conditioner worked fine, the room was clean, the bed comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent. First large cup for coffee we've had so far on this trip. Most have been those small European cups with instant coffee dispensed from machines. At this hotel, we had *real* coffee, and it was lovely. The only hint I can pass along is that you should ask for an updated room. A few people we were with ended up with old, outdated rooms because the hotel had not been completely updated. Of course, you know the hotel is steps away from the Metro that will, with one transfer from red to green line, take you to the old downtown area (among other places, of course). The hardest part about the Metro was figuring out how to get a ticket. A lovely gentleman, a Metro worker, helped us figure it out.
"Good hotel for city tours"
If you are choosing to stay for 2 or 3 nights in Lisbon, for a city break, this hotel might be an option. It is a decent hotel, located near Olaias metro station, so, the access from/to the airport or to city center can be made within few minutes. The staff is very friendly, the concierge ready to help you with plenty of information and recommendation for places to go. You can drink or eat in the hotel restaurant, the guys from the bar are always ready to serve you, so, big plus for the people working in this place. We had a good breakfast, so, also a plus for this. The room was not the most comfortable that i stayed in, but, for this kind of trips, it is just fine. No problem with it. It was clean and for us was more than OK. Free Wi-Fi available in the hotel public area and quest rooms. So as a conclusion, decent stay, great staff, worth to try it!
"Friendly staff, right on Metro, clean"
We stayed here a week in September, and the room for 3 separate people was spacious and clean. Front desk people were helpful. Metro stop Olaias is right outside. Access to the public pool is included. The only downside was breakfast. Portuguese eggs have a different flavor than we were used to, and even boiled eggs tasted bad.
