"Only YOU Hotel Madrid"
A fantastic hotel with super friendly staff and beautiful rooms, restaurant, lounge and bars. Added bonus was the sugar free and gluten free cafe too! The location was spot on too, a perfect weekend away!
"The right choice"
Great boutique hotel. Arrived in the early morning, hotel has policy to allow early check in, so we went straight to our room. Paid for a Junior Suite, but we were given a unique ‘library’ room on the top floor. Although this is a nice room, I would not recommend it as there is a spiral stair case to enter and the bathroom is a bit small. We came back to the hotel 1 week later and stayed in room 234. This is also a suite and it was amazing. One of the better rooms we’ve ever stayed in. There is a large bathroom with shower and tub as well as a separate living room. High ceilings, lots of space and all the amenities you would expect. Breakfast at the hotel was quite good, I had eggs to order. There is also a bakery and pastry shop right across the street. There are two Starbucks a few blocks away. Room tip… Pay for the upgrade. Cons… No parking. And very little space to stop in front of the hotel. If you have a vehicle, there are 2 parking garages extremely close, but assume an additional $20-$30 per night.
"Rough start, but good in the end."
This is a hard review to compile, only because I'm in two worlds on this one. On the one hand, this venue made the wrong impression, but then worked hard to make up the loss. In the end, the manager left us with a really expensive bottle of champagne which really put a smile on our faces. The upside - the location. This place is in the dead center of the city right in between the high street and the luxury street. With just enough distance between the two for you to be away from the commotion. Although we never took advantage of this, there are two adjoining restaurants which can be accessed from the lobby. The cleaning staff - nicest in the world. I mean that you don't often see such a positive attitude. I can mean the difference between a nice and a bad start to your day :). The rooms are cleaned immaculately. The downsides - the breakfast. Nothing to offer for vegetarians and the staff don't really understand the difference. It is expensive for what it is. Our lot had to venture outside to do a decent breakfast and we located two nearby venues; La Rue (Veggie option) and La Huerta De Almeria (Veggie only - even vegan. Highly recommended). Almost windowless rooms. We saw a couple of the rooms and picked the one with a big enough window for daylight to come through. My guess is that the layout of the hotel is the cause of this. Some rooms had to face a "well" which has no view or much light. Would I come back to Only You' Yes, it's a good place.
"Excellence all around"
Stayed here during our first trip to Madrid and don’t know why we would choose another option for our second visit, whenever that happens. The location is perfectly central, the décor is imaginative and stylish, and the room itself was both chic and practical. However, what really sets this place apart is the top-notch staff. Emilio and Francisco especially stand out, but everyone was exceptionally friendly, accommodating, and courteous. Would highly recommend.
Alessio and Adrian at the wine bar are great resources servers with a wonderful friendly flair for local insights. Truly the reason we don’t stay at Westin. . Disksjjdjdkkskdkdks Disjjsjdskskskdkdkkdkdn ndkkdk Kalkaska Kskdksksjdjdk kskdksksj
