Located in the Sants-Montjuic district, between Calle Consell de Cent and Calle Béjar, the hotel is a few metres away from the underground station of Plaza España, in the oldest and most outstanding Fairs area of Barcelona. It is also one of the areas with the longest shopping tradition in the city, down the buzzing main street of calle Creu Coberta (the old “Carretera de Sants”).
Very well communicated with all city motorways, the hotel is just a few steps away from the main train and coach station of Barcelona-Sants.
"Really nice hotel"
Really nice hotel, lovely staff everywhere and really helpful , good location , great food, we really enjoy our stay , definitely will be back and recommend it to friends thanks to everyone who make our stay lovely
I stayed here for 7 night to attend a conference in Barcelona back in May. I enjoyed the stay although the staff forgot to do my laundry. The room was comfy yet the biggest setback is the breakfast selection which I thought could be improved. The location was a big plus for me since it is very close to the metro station.
This hotel is great. The rooms are very nice and include HDTV and free WiFi. We had a king sized bed that was very comfortable. Our room was very quiet. I am not a small person and the bathtub was very usable. Our stay included breakfast. The restaurant staff was very friendly and accommodating. I loved the pastries. The reception staff was amazing. They are very helpful and nice, especially Marta and Luisa who we dealt with the most. They got us attraction tickets and provided a lot of useful information. The location is great, about a five minute walk from the Plaza Espanya metro station. From there, you can get to the attractions very quickly. The hotel is also close to Arena Barcelona where there are many fine shops and restaurants. Besides the Arena, there are many restaurants close by. If we ever come back to Barcelona, I would want to stay here.
"Nice place and fairly convenient "
We stayed at the Pestana Arena for 4 nights and were really happy with our stay. The hotel is in an ok neighbourhood with shops and restaurants. We took the train in from France and the hotel is less than a 10 minute walk from Barcelona Sants. We left by plane and it is a 5 minute walk to the airport express bus. It is about a 30 minute walk to Placa Catalonia and La Rambla, so a metro pass of some type is pretty much a must. Also, we didn't find much for good dining in the area. There are lots of small sidewalk cafes, but we couldn't find anything that was just a notch above that around the hotel. That really wasn't a problem as the metro connection was very speedy from the center. The room and ambience of the hotel is boutiquish. The front desk staff was great and very helpful. The room was a nice size and very clean as well. The lights are a bit of a puzzle to us. I think they were designed to be funky, but for us it didn't really work. Overall we were very happy with our stay at this hotel.
"The best location next to Arena"
If you need the fastest way to get to/from the airport choose this hotel! There's bus stop in 5 minutes walk (near Arena mall). And it takes 20 minutes to go there for 1 euro (of course if you buy T10 ticket). It's convenient location, there are a lot of sightseeings in walking distance: Museum of National Art, Dancing Fountains, Arena Mall, Saints Train Station. If you need to reach any city corner use metro. It's so close! Hotel is great. We arrived early and went to the beach. When we came back our luggage have been already delivered to the room. There we found 2 little bottles of champagne as compliment (we celebrated our honeymoon). Room is clean. Breakfast is delightful. If you want you can eat in the outdoor terrace. I will definitely recommend it. It deserves 4 stars.
