"Beautiful property - poor management "
This is a beautiful resort! The beach is gorgeous, the water is warm and the weather is amazing. Everything you need for the perfect vacation. Unfortunately Pratagy has a long way to improve. If you expect a friendly "Brazilian" staff - this is not the place. Front desk didn't even say welcome or hello at check-in. We booked a "studio" (room type) and honestly for R$600/night you would expect a nicer room- no decor, no picture on the wall, no chair to sit, old mini-fridge. Food and beverage are amazing -but they only clean the dinning area. If people eat by the pool, under the trees or on the beach, you will see leftovers and dirty dishes all day long. On top of that- you will share the space (and likely the food) with street dogs and cats that visit the resort, including the dining room! Guests are not enforced to wear shirts during their meals, so as you eat you will see people in their bathing suit (even in their speedo as you get your food from the buffet!). Monkeys are also welcome in the dining room, so watch out during lunch. The sad thing is that animals eat the leftovers from the same dishes we use. If you're an early bird- be patient with the service. We came to the beach before 9am and chairs were not clean, bar was not open (not even for water- "the guy" went somewhere), there was garbage from the previous day, life guard was not there. You're on your own. It's a private *gorgeous* beach, but you still get people selling stuff... which is annoying because they insist and we were concerned about leavening our stuff behind. I believe we had bad luck, for a full day the main pool was closed, paddle boards not available, kayak station was closed early, acarajé station not available - all on the same day! Everything is translated to Spanish - but nothing to English. When food is labeled (which did not happen often) there was no translation to English. Also no English channels on TV - it fees like they are a Spanish friendly property. Please understand that this is a beautiful place for vacation - but if you've been to other all inclusive resorts before, you will notice a poor level of service here. We had a great time but I would not come back - would rather spend the money on a different property.
"Best hotel and service ever."
I asked for assistance to propose to my wife and they helped me do it all, they setup a nice dinner ordered flowers and all in the DECK on the beach side for us and I was able to propose, she said yes by the way. We spent 3 days there and it was all inclusive all a very memorable experience. The service was great the people were amazing and I will always be thankful for all they did. Highly recommended.
"Great value for your money "
You pay exactly what it's worth...don't expect any luxury...the rooms (standard) are nice but not fancy at all...the common áreas are nice, the food was good (almost everything on the buffet were brazilian dishes), except for the kids menu The beach is great, big waves and warm water I would recommend it if you dont have high standards...but on the other hand it's really cheap compared with the caribbeans resorts
"Have a great time with your family"
It's a great place to rest and have fun with your kids and family. The employees are all very kind and the children's entertainers take good care of the kids so we can rest. They have the all inclusive service, and a snack bar that keeps up all day long. The beaches are nice and clean. The local wildlife (especially little monkeys) are a plus! Perfect for couples and families.
"Young Couple "
We were in the hotel for the new year. (5 days and 4 nights) The place is very beautiful and there is a good infrastructure, specially for children. The hotel is around 15km from Maceio Downtown, so, it is not that easy for making tourism. You need to rent a car or a travel company to make the tours. The food is OK. The only day food was reaaaally good was the New Year dinner. The breakfast is really good. The drinks are good. They could just offer a better quality cachaça (they were serving pitu, and I could not drink caipirinhas) There was a new year party, with local band! It was really nice. However, there were few fireworks. They to do not have enough sunshade for everyone (they are far from having it). You need to arrive in the beach around 8:30 AM to guarantee a sunshade. It is important to know that is almost impossible to stay in the beach during Brazilian summer without sunshade. If you want to get some rest and you don't mind about having many children around, is a good option.
