Lovely clean hotel friendly staff, only down was no English channels on tv, and at the end of a busy sight seeing day it would have been nice to chill with a bit of English speaking tv Decent breakfast, comfy rooms, nice small bar area, with happy hour. Good internet connection. Pity about the tv 😞
"Wonderful Home Away from Home!!"
We stayed here in early November and had a delightful experience! The staff was superb in their recommendations and interventions on our behalf. Most everyone here speaks English but were complimentary to any attempt we made to try a bit of Czech. The breakfast was lovely and the beer in this country is the best I've tried! Pure White is on a quiet street but not far from the subway--great for our sightseeing connections. David, the Manager during the daylight hours, was a fountain of information and the rest of the staff was terrific as well. Don't miss this Prague gem--a diamond in my opinion!!
A modern hotel in a beautiful old building. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. Rooms are large, bright and well appointed. Buffet breakfast had a good and varied selection. Only downside for me was the walk to the centre, but that's only because I have a bad back, most normal people would find the location no problem at all!
We traveled as a couple on a break with Broadway Travel with a tour of the Castle and hop on hop off bus included. Hotel was wonderful, in a quiet part of the city and very close to local trams and buses. We were shown to the Metro which was around a 15 minute walk but obviously this couple had not mastered standing on a street corner and looking to see what trams and buses pass and where they stop. We bought a three day pass 330krona each and we did this justice and went from one of the city to another, Right on the corner of the road the hotel is positioned in, Staff are wonderful and bend over backwards to accommodate you and room was very spacious. Shower was a rain shower which was wonderful and I did not want to leave the shower behind as it was so relaxing standing under it especially after a long day out. Steps from street level lead you into the hotel so not sure how you would manage if you were in a wheelchair or there may be an other entrance that staff would know about but to me being general public do not know this. The lift and door of the room work of a key card. Comfy nights sleep. We were on 4th Floor just by the lift which was wonderful so no long corridor to walk down. Very clean and room was cleaned daily. Would definitely go back to this hotel. I had left my charger at home and no problem reception charged it for me daily. WIFI is free in the hotel and there is a bar area where you can sit and relax. Did not order any drinks so not sure if they were expensive or not. Fridge was in the room. Toiletries were in abundance and given out every day so no need to pack any shampoo or conditioner or soap... advice is to bring a sponge with you that is all you need. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.
"Fab hotel "
Stayed for 3 nights at the end of October. Hotel is spotless & staff are very helpful. Approximately 20 min walk to Wenceslas Square. Tram stop is just round the corner, trams are very frequent to get you to all tourist spots & beyond! Would not hesitate to return to this hotel!!
