"!0 Years Since My Last Stay But Still As Good"
Last stayed here in 2007 when it was an excellent hotel. My return visit last week found the hotel in excellent condition and impeccable service. Room clean tidy and up to date. Breakfast exactly as I remember it and food quality as good if not better. Well situated for Oxford Street if you are shopping and close to many other tourist attractions. Nearest tube only a short walk away. Pricey compared to other UK cities but this is London!
"Great Location - service....."
The location of the Hotel is great, just next to Oxford St. and a step away from Soho and Hyde Park. The Hotel is OK. What i take home is... the pillows were excellent! Other than that... Although I have placed a "Do not Disturb" card on the door, until I would have to collect my luggage for Check out time - the cleaning staff did enter the room and removed the card - placing it on the inside!' Well... nothing happened, but not happy with that one. Reception/concierge very nice people and attentive.
So I came here for business meeting and it's a very nice place very clean and above board. The staff where pleasant and would do anything for you. Love it 😍 the only thing I don't like ' Parking what a nightmare all round. £42 for the hotel no thanks. Although learnt something new today parking on a single yellow line or payed parking bay is free on a Sunday till 8.30 the next day. So that will do as I'm only here for one night. Cheers 🍻
Rooms are very cramped indeed at £180 per night, I have to be honest and say that I've had better rooms at half the price. The surrounding area is very nice indeed, close to Oxford Street, so you're paying for the location in my opinion. Also the walls are poorly noise dampened, we heard our neighbours chatting away.
Decent++ business hotel, very close to Hyde Park. Rooms as expected.A bit worn down but rooms and facilities OK. Service adequate. A small gym. Breakfast selection well over average. restaurant completely full, but staff handled very well.
