Tucked within the heart of the Nation's Capital. Dupont Circle became a hub of commerce and home to embassies based on city plans created by George Washington and his architect friend, Pierre Charles L'Enfant. Dupont Circle has remained an integral part of DC to this day.
"very nice hotel good location"
took my grandson on spring break and stayed 5 days we had a fridge in the room, walking distance to market so we could have snacks in our room. also close to some very nice restaurants and the metro station.the staff was very helpful and friendly. the room was very clean and comfortable. the only thing that was a negative there was no shuttle from the airport and it is quite far from the hotel
Had nice but short stays at Renaissance Dupoint Circle. The rooms are clean and of fair size. The In-room facilities such as cofee maker, ironbox, etc are convenient. The hotel is located a walking distance from convenient stores and the White House, a must visit location for visitors. Staff are friendly and helpful.
"Dreadful conference rooms, service and food"
Spent time at a conference here. Horrible experience. The service is inexistent. The conference room is below the ground, room lay out is totally inefficient and the food - how can one have such dreadful food.
The front desk staff for my 2 night stay could not have been more helpful. I had a room near the elevator but, even with the floor being full it was very quiet/ If you need a quick bite the Turkey BLT is delicious.
"Wonderful Hotel in a great location"
First and most importantly, the entire staff at this hotel is very friendly. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The hotel is on a quiet street so its easy to get plenty of sleep. The hotel is within walking distance of some of DC's best restaurants. Just about the perfect home base for a quick weekend getaway in an awesome city.
