"LIke a fairy tale"
Staying at this beautifal Riad was like a dream come true; a fairy tale that came to life. The staff was very, very helpful and very, very friendly. Everything was clean and the food was top notch. Also, the location was absolutely perfect – right next door to all the action in the form of shops, restaurants and everything else. We had our two year old son with us and the staff as well as most people on the streets, in the shops etc. was very, very kind to him. We couldn’t have asked for more! Well, more days there, of course - but who knows what happens in the future… Our goal is to return someday, that’s for sure. Highly recommended!
"Our home in Marrakech"
We stayed 11 nights in the Mauve room at Riad Saba. It was our first visit to Marrakech. We planned the trip by ourselves and prepared to explore and learn about the city and culture in a leisurely way and at our own pace. When our airport driver dropped us off in front of a black door in what seemed to be the back yard of a small village square we wondered what we had gotten ourselves into. Then the door opened and we stepped into the paradise of Riad Saba. When we eventually left we felt like leaving our family. Jamal, Youness, Amina, Nora, Ilham - your warm and caring hospitality made Riad Saba our safe home and heaven in exploring endlessly fascinating Marrakech. We agree with the positive comments made by other travelers about RS, and since we stayed a bit longer than most we'd like to add that it gave us great pleasure to day by day feel more and more at home. We highly recommend Riad Saba also for those who like to stay on for a while. Thank you, shukran, we hope to see you again!
"Charming and centrally located riad"
Riad Saba is a beautiful and charming riad with a great central location in the Medina and the Jemaa El-Fna square and souk within a short walking distance. Rooms are all different and personally decorated and were kept very clean and tidy. The riad has a nice rooftop terrace where we had an excellent homemade lunch and spent a couple of afternoon hours relaxing. To us, the welcoming and personal treatment was perhaps what set Riad Saba apart the most. We stayed seven nights and were extremely well looked after by the whole team. We had a guided tour of the Media with swedish speaking manager Jamal who has extensive historical knowledge as well as insights into modern day Marrakech and a genuine interest in sharing this. Even for those not staying at the riad, we would recommend a guided tour with Jamal. The riad also organized a beautiful day in the Atlas mountain and helped with bookings and advise on everytning from restaurants to where to go for a run. We would happily come back to stay at Riad Saba and will recommend others to do the same.
The riad is perfectly located only 4-5 minutes away from the famous Jamaa el Fna square. Jamal will give you all the necessary information about any excursions you wish to go on and he will happily book them for you. Jamal, shares his deep knowledge of the local culture, Moroccan history and handcraft business. This riad is ideal for families and couples who want a real personal touch, genuine charm and a pleasant service. The rooms are large, with very comfortable beds and each guest room has its own unique style. This was my second time at Riad Saba and I loved it even more.
"Quiet Oasis away from the bustle"
A clean, comfortable, stylish traditional Riad to the South West of the Medina. Great stay. Jamal & Younnis were attentive to our needs. Word of advise arriving by taxi/car - the road is a minute's walk - you may not need the 'help' of a trolley 'gang'. The hustlers were disappointed when only tipped 15DHM for helping us walk 50 yards.....
