"Very nice, comfortable and trustworthy"
My wife and I spent a night in Royal Jardins in may, 2017. The hotel is very nice and comfortable. Occasionally my wife forgot her echarpé in the room! Next day we call the hotel and they said they had found it! After a fast changes of informations they promised to envy us the echarpé! And they did! We loved it! Well done! Good job! Thanks a bunch, indeed! Tks to Marion Becker of the from governança! We recommend!
"Good basic hotel in a relatively safe place for Sao Paulo"
Sao Paulo is very unsafe just like people warn you. It is the most unsafe place I have been to in fact it is worse than Johannesburg in South Africa. This hotel is in a safer place of Sao Paulo but you cannot let your guard down. The rooms are very basic and small but clean and simple. It is close enough to a main shopping prescient that you can walk to safely enough. Breakfast is good also
"Fine hotel in a great location"
We loved our 3-day stay at Royal Jardins Boutique Hotel. Located in the tree-lined Jardins neighborhood, it is only two blocks from lively Avenue Paulista, a fine strolling and people-watching street. The gorgeous jungle-in-the-city park Tenete Siqueira Campos (also known as Trianon park) is just a few blocks down Paulista, just across the street from the fabulous compact Museo de Arte de Sao Paulo. We felt safe walking there by day, but were cautioned to get back the hotel before the evening crowds went home – as anywhere in big-city Brazil. Our room was comfortable, not enormous, but good for us in all respects. A good bed, great pillows, a minibar, an excellent bathroom. Caution: showers in Brazil tend to run cool water. We mastered the shower “splash bath” in Rio and Sao Paulo hotels. Breakfast in the hotel dining room was excellent: cereals, diverse breads, wonderful ripe tropical fruit, and a hot buffet with basic scrambled eggs sorts of things. Don’t miss the cheese rolls, the spherical delight greatly loved by Brazilians. Staff was excellent: they were uniformly helpful, and there was always someone speaking good English. Marcelo helped us get started by marking up a map, and Carla helped us get ready to depart for the airport.
"Great location. Wonderful staff."
An ideal boutique hotel located in walking distance to fine restaurants and shops. Great breakfast buffet, included. When my husband and I asked directions to a nearby dinner spot, the desh clerk actually walked us there. Perfectly safe area to walk around day or night.
"Everything you can want from a hotel except....."
I loved everything about this hotel, from Moses the valet (always a smile on his face, and ready to help), to the wonderfully friendly hotel staff at the front desk (but you must make the first move), to the fabulous location. However..... this is the only reason I wouldn't stay here again - the paper thin walls. You can literally hear the people talking in the room next door. We were on a business trip so whenever a guest would enter their rooms you can hear the door slam, or the door buzzer. I could hear clearly the conversations being had. The last few nights there were no guests next door so it was great. As for location - Perfect. You are a block and a half from Paulista Avenue, a main avenue with shopping malls, shoe stores, the metro line.... It is also 2 blocks from Campinas Street a wonderfully fun street with a few shops and exciting restaurants from Sushi, to Hamburgers and even a NY style restaurant. The price also was incredible. Even Paulistas couldn't believe the price I paid and it included breakfast. The breakfast was really good, it included scrambled eggs, variety of cold cuts, assortment of Fresh Fruit Juices, watermelon, fresh buns of all kinds and even cakes!!! There is a tiny terrace just outside the restaurant, just enough to be able to say you could get some fresh air. The gym is literally in a closet. A colleague travelling with me who is an avid gym person found it too cramped and didn't use the facility but it is there however. The staff was so helpful in suggesting cafes and restaurants that really suited our tastes. So, if thin walls isn't a problem this really is the perfect choice for you. Oh, one more thing, the wifi was a bit slow and choppy at times but never posed any issues.
