"One of the best hotels in Chiang Mai"
We stayed in club level, the room is very good with big bathroom and the food at the club level is excellent. It is around 10 minutes walk to where the night action is. Good hotel to stay in and the food at hotel is good.
Everything you expect from a 5 start hotel. Great breakfast, clean room, nice pool and fantastic spa. The staff was super attentive. Only downside are prices at the spa which are 5 times higher vs places with similar service a block away from the hotel
"A pleasant & heartwarming stay"
My family just returned from Chiang Mai. Shangri-La has made the consistent efforts to assign wheelchair-friendly room, arrange timely airport transfers & respond promptly to all requests. A special thank you to Kae who spent time to chat at check-in & when she met me in the premises. Thank you too for noting my birthdate & sending cake, flowers & card (handmade by Housekeeping team). Appreciate the extra touch.
"specious and quiet"
One of the best Hotel you can get in Chiangmai, but it is nquiet expensive to be a Thailand. good location to go out such as divers restaurant, Night Bazar etc... Every weekend there is pool side BBQ, not so cheap but good
We spent a week here. The hotel itself was perfect location, 10 minute walk to night market and quite close to everything you need. If it was too hot the there was always transport around. The hotel was a little tired but for Thailand standards very good. Staff were excellent. We stayed at the club rooms and the staff there were fantastic. If anything went wrong we call the club room and all was fixed within minutes. Very minor so no real need to mention. The pool was in excellent condition and the life guards we friendly and always there to assist in any way. They were more the just life guards as they knew the area recommended places to go. The club room breakfast didn't have as much options as downstairs but it was more relaxing and they seamed to have the best selection of the food downstairs. Club then had afternoon tea. Small selection but was out and about so missed most days. Cocktail or happy hour was 2 hours of fun. Only 1 maybe 2 types of cocktails but spirits, wines and beer on offer. Hot and cold food. Selection slightly varied each night. Had better food but wasn't bad. Does have Chinese and western influences Overall, yes I would be back.
