Centrally located in Waikiki, this resort is right next to Waikiki Beach as well as world-class shopping and dining. Diamond Head crater, or Leahi as it is known in Hawaiian, is located just three miles from the resort. The moderate hike to the top takes approximately 45 minutes—but is well worth the memories that will last a lifetime.
We loved staying at the Sheraton, the room was great and the service of the staff was amazing. We ate out most if the time and explored the surrounding shopping precinct. There was lots to do and eat and it was all very close and central. This was our Honeymoon and when we wanted to do something the concierge was very helpful in organising things for us to do. Particularly Aiko Storm was magnificient.Comment of V. Nicholas , Australia the 2016-09-04
Ripper place for singles or family!Comment of U. Daniele , Australia the 2016-09-01
Perfect hotel for relaxation. Swimming pools provide great experience for both kids and adults. Most rooms provide great views of the ocean, but oceanfront rooms were brilliant. Bathrooms are adequate and property is very well maintained and clean. Various food options available on site and chargeable back to your room. Well located and centrally located on the beach front.Comment of E. Richard , Australia the 2016-08-01

Our visit to the glorious Sheraton in Waikiki was amazing. The lobby/store area, infinity pool, Kai Market restaurant and the koi pond area were especially fantastic! Thank you staff Hillary for taking our picture. We will want to return to this special hotel as soon as we can. Thank you all for your warmth and hospitality.
"Wonderful family vacation"
Splendid location, very busy hotel. Terrific breakfast buffet something for everyone. Well kept, clean and safe location. Adult pool and family pools with slides for the kid in us all. Lots of food and shopping locations just steps from the hotel. Pool is just steps from a beautiful beach ready for hours of snorkeling and shell finding. My only complaint is that the on location hotel laundry for the guests is inadequate, machines out of order and dryers taking hours to dry your clothes $$$ if one is even available. Otherwise wonderful place.
Sheraton Waikiki is an older hotel, but modernized and lovely. Would definitely stay there again! We had the concierge service and due to our membership in the hotel program, we got it half price. It was worth that price, but not $125.00 a day! I would never pay that! We had partial ocean view, which is exactly what it was. I think I would rather have full ocean views, but that overlooks the kiddie pool also.
"Great Family Location."
Very busy hotel, great location. The pools are so great for the kids and the adult infinity pool is divine. Perfect choice for first time Hawaii tourists. Central to everything. Great coffee shops too.
"Great amenities & pool, poor customer service and average rooms"
My husband and I stayed at the Sheraton Waikiki with a wedding party last week. As we are SPG Platinum members and pretty well travelled, we felt slightly disappointed with this property on several accounts. Some of the check in staff wasn’t the friendliest , aside from Jeffery (super accommodating & greeted us with a huge smile). The rooms had excellent views of Diamond Head (We had stayed in the Malia suite) but they were extremely outdated, considering the high price you pay to stay here. However that was nothing compared to the worst customer service we have ever experienced staying at a Starwoods resort. As Platinum members we had access to the Leahi lounge but there had been a misunderstanding in how many people in our wedding party would be able to use the lounge. Instead of treating us with respect & trying to resolve the situation in a nice manner, Stefan & Natsuki denied us entry to the lounge unkindly, which made us feel like low class citizens. I was extremely embarrassed because we were celebrating our best friend’s wedding & wanted the day to be extra special for the bride. Stefan was probably the rudest person I have ever encountered in hospitality. The Sheraton really needs to rethink who they hire to greet guests, especially in an SPG lounge. Eventually they let us into the lounge while they sorted out the mess and Brandon (Sheraton manager & a nice person) came to speak to us about what happened. He did make us feel slightly better however we were not offered anything to make up for the extreme rudeness we experienced. Despite the debacle at the lounge, the Sheraton pool area, especially the Edge bar was amazing. Probably the best beachside pool we have seen in Waikiki and all the staff there were really amazing. Loved Rumfire as well, solid spot for drinks & music. Also, this hotel is centrally located, which was a bonus. Overall for the price you pay at the Sheraton, quality of the rooms & their customer service, I have mixed feelings if I would ever stay again at this hotel.
