The Sofitel Golden Mile was perfectly located for everything we wanted to see and do. Room was ample and well laid out. Housekeeping was spectacular. Only thing that could have been improved was the pillows on the bed. I would recommend this hotel.
"One of the best!"
Staffs were excellent and helpful. Made my montreal trip as a special one. Nothing went wrong. Very modern hotel in the heart of Montreal. Clean and carefully furnished room. Would definitely visit again if i ever go to Montreal.
"A wonderful, very relaxing and enjoyable stay at the Sofitel once again!"
Every one of the staff were so friendly and extremely accommodating. Charlotte Lecul was once again extremely pleasurable to deal with, just an amazing person with such a great smile and everything that a customer could ever expect in regards to attention and detail. Merci beaucoup!
"An outstanding experience."
We were there only one night, but thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. We were especially impressed by the excellent advice we got from the concierge, William. But everyone we dealt with at the hotel was very helpful and cordial.
"Nice hotel, but..."
Stayed here for a long weekend. We picked the Sofitel over the Novotel, for I had Accor points to use up and we wanted an all out big weekend. I like the Accor chain of hotels and especially the Sofitels and Pullmans. This hotel is in a great location. One can walk everywhere. The hotel staff are excellent and the hotel is very clean. The rooms are well appointed, but a bit tired and our room had a mild musty smell. Our mattress was too soft. Everything else was okay, but not excellent as most Sofitels are. There are enough toiletries, but no spares and no bath salts for the nice tub. There is a Nespresso coffee machine in the room with only three capsules - one being decaf. This is not sufficient when you’re two adults. No milk either. There is a fridge and safe and free wifi. An upscale French restaurant (Renoir) that we didn’t go to, but gets decent reviews. Frankly, we are a bit “meh” about this hotel. I feel bad, for I booked it again for a few nights next month thinking that it would be a nice surprise for my child. On the plus side, you get two bottles of water per day and free wifi and the hotel is generally quiet. I’d give the Novotel a try before this, for we’ve stayed there before, and frankly, if it wasn’t for the points that I used, I’d feel guilty about the extra expenditure for this place.
