"New year break"
We have never been to Poland before but we fell in love with Wroclaw and the Softiel hotel is a great base as it's so close to the Rynek and it's gorgeous bars and restraunts ! The vibe over new year was magical and the staff we very pleasant and helpful, especially in the bar where we sampled a few cocktails! We opted for an executive room and the bed was huge ! There was also a complimentary Nespresso machine with coffee pods that were topped up daily. The room was also cleaned every single day with fresh towels etc which was fab. The room also had a free safe to keep your mind at ease . Whilst in Wroclaw we visited the monopol hotel to use the spa and also the acquario restraunt (amazing if your a foodie) and it is further away from the old town , though not too far but it is closer to the city for modern shops if that's your thing. We loved our stay and something tells me we will be back next year :)
"Feels like home"
Excellent hotel from all aspects. Great location and hotel with staff that serve all your guest needs. We stayed few times in several rooms class and all were great, especially the junior suite. Highly recommended!
"Lovely stay in a lovely room"
We stay here over Christmas and it was a great experience. Hotel half empty but nevertheless you could feel this special atmosphere. We got a lovely prestige suite. Special thanks to Ela for her friendliness and hospitality (at breakfast).
"Pretty Fine Accommodations"
I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights over the Christmas holiday. I got a great rate booking directly at the hotel website. Check-in was quick and efficient and the front desk staff were very nice. I booked a superior room which had a king bed and was facing the street (rather than the interior atrium). The windows were equipped with good insulation so there was no street noise. However, other than the fact that it had a window/faced the street, the only difference was price. The room was nicely decorated and furniture was in good repair. There was a strangely small TV stand with what was a fairly small TV given the size of the room. The cable worked well and there was a good selection of TV stations. Wifi was free/open signal and it was consistent and stable. The color scheme and décor of the room was very nice. The linen were high quality, bed extremely comfortable with a feather bed on top of the mattress and nice, clean, crisp sheets. The bathroom was a bit small but had a nice tub/shower combo. The towels were oversized and very fluffy, soap and shower products were amazing and the water pressure in bathroom was great. Housekeeping does a great job. I was given a discount for daily breakfast and I am glad I took advantage of the offer. Breakfast included a wide variety of offerings. They have a made-to-order grill where you can order hot foods including omelets, French toast and other items. One nice feature was the fact that you can request breakfast be delivered to your room if you prefer at no additional charge. Part of my stay included a free drink at the hotel bar. I ordered a long island ice tea which was very well blended. I decided to have a bite to eat from the restaurant while at the bar and ordered the club sandwich but was a pretty disappointed. For some reason they put tartar sauce on the sandwich and this ruined it for me. It made me a bit hesitant to try any other offerings from the restaurant but it seemed to have a lovely ambiance. Finally, I decided to book a treatment at the hotel spa--just a pedicure. I was able to get an appointment fairly easily and the spa staff are friendly and accommodating. However, I felt the pedicure was awkwardly performed while I was lying down on a massage table. The pedicure was more than 1 1/2 hours long and didn't include any foot or leg massage or application of any lotion. Yet the quality of the pedicure/polish at the end was very good. Overall, a lovely, comfortable hotel.
"Excellent vacation before Christmass"
First of all - the location, just perfect. In heart of the old city and very close to most of the main attractions. Breakfast - amazing (and I like to eat). You have a lot of choices of everything and it's very very delicious (just very expensive if you have to pay for it separately). The staff was friendly and helped us to order a good restaurant. We were surprised to receive the upgrade for the better room just because I have a card of this hotel. Wi FI was OK, just need to send registration all the time.
