"Even a star way too much for this hotel"
Horrible, terrible, so very dirty. I booked this hotel in august to stay 5 nights in September . Our reservation was all inclusive even we knew that we wouldn’t use what the hotel offers as not want to stay at the hotel all the time. The front desk tried to give us a room that we didnt book ( supposed to be water view) . After I denied it, ended up waiting couple of hours. Im going to submit the pictures I took when we first arrived to the room. Extremely dirty, outdated and smelly. Walked around the hotel.. Pool and restaurant were ok but bar offers nothing except unname brand draft beer and water. We decided not to stay no more than a night even booked for 5 nights . They denied to refund us but we immediately contacted our travel agent and American Express and got our refund. Never ever stay in this dirty hotel... PS Im in the hotel business as well. Im patient and know how things works at the hotels. You can fix non working things but not rude front desk agents and already outdated and dirty rooms . I would never leave negative feedback but this place is well worth it .
This hotel is classed as 5 star 3 star at most. Hotel run down grubby through out, housekeeping not high on their to do list. Bed linen not change even after complaining at reception only the pillow cases were changed. The room not cleaned, I bought wet wipes to clean bathroom. The food plentiful but was hot once, I had bad stomach upset, speaking to other guests I was not the only one. The animation team very good not pushy. Plenty of sunbeds around pool and on beach.
"A holiday for my tired self. A five star rest"
Having the experience of holidays at medium budget all inclusive resorts in different parts of the world (Spain, Puerto Rico, Egypt) I've kept my expectations low and my hopes high. Sundance Resort in Turgutreis has good points and bad points. I will start with the good ones: * near the airport; * beautiful location! * good size room, decent size beds, decent size bathroom with nice, good quality towels and plenty of free toiletries; * free of charge safe, big wardrobe; * small room fridge which was refilled daily with Fanta, Sprite, Coke, sparkling and still water, all complimentary! * flat screen TV; * kettle, complimentary tea bags and instant coffee; * AMAZING food!!! * cold, well kept lager; * clean dining facilities ( I can't praise enough the whole restaurant team who was constantly cleaning, removing empty dishes off the tables, the chefs looked impeccable and always wearing gloves when handling food); * the entertainment team was brilliant, constantly engaging with guests (Dasha was lovely, so was Naki); * the pool! Oh, the pool!:) * the kiddies water slides. Now, the bad points (please bear in mind this is just my personal opinion): * the beach is a big let down: plenty of sun lounges, with complimentary beach towels, but what a dirty beach it is, possibly the dirtiest I've ever seen! Hundreds of cigarette butts, dead seaweeds, tens of stray dogs (dog poo is to be expected, almost everywhere); * stray dogs and cats. As a former veterinarian, my love for animals is endless, but it looks like there is no control over the tens of dogs freely wandering around the pool, drinking the pool water, sleeping on the beach right next to you, or straight on the sun lounge! Not safe nor healthy! * the rooster that woke me up EVERY single morning at 5.30! I would've cooked it myself if I could! Overall, I'm rating this resort 5 stars based on the fantastic feeling I was left with at the end of the 15 days I've spent there. I bought this holiday online on Sunday and I was there on Tuesday. My mind and body desperately needed sun, water and relaxation! I got what I needed and for that I highly recommend SunDance Turgutreis! Thank you!
As a single woman travelling with a 9 year old son I found this hotel to be amazing. All the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. My son loved the children’s club and evening entertainment not to mention the all inclusive food and daily chocolate waffles. Lots of activities throughout the day for children and adults from aqua aerobics, Turkish, Zumba and kizomba dance classes to games around the pool. The Turkish bath and massage are a must do. The hotel manager Yusuf could not do enough for me, including making my birthday memorable presenting me with a beautiful cake. The restaurant manager Firat always put a smile on my face, he made sure myself and my son were happy and well looked after by his waiting staff. The entertainment team as a whole made sure all guests were enjoying their stay and are a huge credit to the hotel. I would not hesitate to rebook and return to this hotel.
Have been going to Turgutreis for 19 yrs and stayed in many different accommodations, this isn't the worst by a long way but does need improving. The pool slides need attention, rooms have minimal cleaning and we had to ask reception for more coffee etc. and even toilet rolls. There is a variety of food but not the best. There was 14 of us and we were all inclusive but we ate out 2 out of 7 nights. would have been more but some could not afford to pay extra to eat out.
