Super friendly staff! Nice rooms and delicious food. Although they have time share properties and meetings they are not pushy and as a regular guest i never felt hounded. Beautiful sunsets over the lagoon and hourly shuttles to their beachside property not too far away
Small quiet resort, perfect for a rest. Cose to airport and the amenities in cancun. Good food in the restaurant with a themed menu each night, service was excellent. We did not like the buffet selections, and food was not hot. The soup at lunch was good.
"Nice place "
This is a nicely appointed, well groomed, friendly, clean resort. The room is up to date and comfortable, beds comfortable, pillows eh, soft feather so if you like that your good, I personally like them firmer. Food in the restaurant wasn't fantastic but it was good. The buffet however was very good, fresh and delicious with a fair variety. The bars her do not have top shelf liquor all very basic liquors and not a huge variety, but mixed well. We would come again. Also ask about Day access to their 3 sister resorts for no fee all with different attractions. One thing to note this is on the lagoon not the ocean, so it is beautiful and good for water sports, jet ski boats, kayaks etc, no swimming is allowed.
"Our 1st Trip to Cancun"
My daughter and I could not have asked for a better experience traveling to Cancun for the very first time--in fact our first time out of the country! Everything about our trip was stellar: service, friendliness, the amount of activities, the location and the beautiful resort. We purposely scheduled our visit to coincide with Halloween and Day of the Dead and were overwhelmed with the attention given to both holidays by the entertainment staff with the scheduled shows (Incredible, but I was so in the moment I didn't video anything!) and all of the decorations. The front desk has a wealth of brochures available for information for any offsite activities and there is shuttle bus service between all 4 properties that enabled us to easily get to and enjoy the beautiful Gulf of Mexico that up until now we've only ever seen in pictures. I was very excited to get the opportunity to try new foods while there, but it was nice have access to some hometown favorites too. I cannot say enough about the entertainment staff at this resort. We have been to a few different properties within our timeshare network and by far the most memorable team we've had the pleasure of meeting was Alex, Tony, Rachel, Ernesto and Ivan. They all went above and beyond the call by interacting with all the guests, including anyone who wanted to participate in games and contests, organizing poolside activities (I played volleyball for the first time in years!) and organizing nightclub outings. Jesus Hernandez in the buffet restaurant--awesome and friendly. One night I ordered a tequila and grapefruit juice and had no idea that it was an unusual request at that time of day. I got fresh squeezed grapefruit juice when I just assumed I would have canned or bottled juice! I remember Javier in the buffet also, very pleasant, always a smile and greeting for me and my daughter even if we weren't seated in his area. We also went to the Sunset Royal, twice, and both times Isolos was our waiter, what a lovely man he was. So nice and helpful! And Fabian and Alberto, bellboy and front desk--never saw either of them without a smile on their face! I wish I could remember every single person there--I can still see everyone in my mind but names escape me! We are already planning our return visit and very much hope to see everyone we met again.
First, we loved our trip! I would like to emphasize the quality of the service of the employees of the sunset marina! Raul, gabriel, adan at the lobby bar. then, Raquel, Tony and Ivan in the animation department. Finally, thank you for this week guy!!
