"Excellent Dinner at Capital Kitchen"
Great ambiance with yummy food at Taj. Capital Kitchen provides varied menu which includes Pizzas and Pastas, Indian, Chinese cuisine and nice starters. The place is great to visit with family and friends on special occasions.
We enjoyed an amazing stay here. The team ensured we got the weekend break we were looking for and also pampered us well. Right from the check-in, Akriti (loved your smile :), Raunaq ensured a smooth check-in and Munna Bhai ensured we were greeted everytime we passed by him near the elevators. Naveen at the Capital Kitchen helped me to plan a private (surprise) dinner for me an my wife in a cosy set up (A small heater could'v made it amazing but it was still good), the chef cooked up an amazing array of food (sorry cheffie forgot your name).. Everyone here is so welcoming and wanting to do something extra - the valet offered to clean my car (it was quite dirty actually) and made sure that it was sparkling the next day. I look fwd to such hospitality on all future escapades with Taj.
taj diplomatic enclave hotel provide best and best facility provide by other hotel. it gives real time experience of hotel with respect and honour from the hotel staff to everyone with same treatment .
"Delightful reception "
We stayed for two nights on a tour arriving late at night on a delayed flight from Amritsar due to the smog which has covered Delhi. Despite arriving late and being in a group we were quickly checked into our rooms. The common areas are very luxurious and beautifully presented, staff are smartly dressed and welcoming. Rooms are well appointed but our double was in fact a twin (even though we asked at check-in and were assured it was a double) we were so tired we couldn’t be bothered to complain and getting the bed type/ smoking/non smoking correct seems to be a common problem in India. Our room was a little tired but the beds were comfortable and the linen of good quality so we slept well. The smog is a huge problem and the air con seems to suck it in so we left it off. Bathroom was nice with a good sized bath, troublesome plug and tired decor. The rooms have tea & coffee and a well stocked minibar. Delhi hotel bar prices are ridiculous so you just have to budget for that and look out for happy hour. The thing that let this hotel down was the restaurant, the quality of the food just did not match the hotel. The waiters seemed incompetent and had to be asked at least twice for everything. Starters and main course were brought at the same time. Drinks just didn’t arrive until the third time of asking. We were visited by a friend who was staying in the ITC Mauraya next door and he wanted a bar meal as we had already eaten. This took an embarrassing amount of time to arrive, a shame for the hotel as he is a businessman who visits Delhi every few weeks and was impressed by the lobby but clearly not by the service. I think as Delhi hotels go its ok but in my experience Delhi has issues with huge hotels and poor service, you can get a good room but only after you have complained or if you are a re regular customer.
Lovely rooms. Use the ones on the Club floor. They are newly done up. Great food and Taj hospitality. View from the rooms of the greens is superb. The gym is a bit small and crowded. Open air area for gatherings is very nice.
