"Great place, great location"
I’ve been two times in my vacations. I the beginning we’ve stayed for 4 days. The place is close to the fifth avenue, but not so busy and you can go to most of the greats store or even to the Central Park by foot. The access to the subway is perfect ,because you have the entrance to the lines E,M,4,5,6 just across the corner , and the elevator to those lines in the other corner in the 52th ( we used a lot because if the stroller) They were really helpfull with the baby , mostly in the second time when we the checkout and return later to take the luggage , and they offered to take a bath before taking the plane in their Spa. It was perfect because my daughter could have a nice shower and clean dippers for the flight.
"The Best! Friendly staff, great rooms, well priced, great location."
Beautiful spacious studio with walk-in closet, 2 wide screen TVs and a small kitchenette. Well worth the price, nice location - easy walk to Rockefeller center or Central Park. Hands down the best staff I have ever encountered. They genuinely cared and went above and beyond. Also they have a “sleep” program where you can have pillows sent to your room for free - different sizes, firmness, temperature, etc. just another fun perk at this gem of a hotel.
Fabulous hotel in perfect location on East 50th one block from the 4,5 and 6 subway. A few blocks for great shopping. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The National which is part of the hotel is a great place to have a drink and/or eat.
As Marriott Platinum Reward Members, we usually stay at a Marriott while visiting NYC. This was our first stay at a non Marriott NYC hotel, and it was lovely. I felt we received much more personalized attentive service then when we stayed at The Marriott Midtown.
"Great value for location and suite size"
Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 girls aged 10 and 12) stayed for 8 nights during the lead up to Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Benjamin hotel. Our one bedroom suite with kitchenette was very spacious and allowed up some respite from the crazy crowds outside. This suite was like a proper one bedroom apartment- much larger than other 'hotel one bedroom suites' we've stayed in. Excellent location with the subway entrance a few steps away from hotel entrance, a walgreens on the corner of 51st street and the National restaurant downstairs. The kitchenette was handy with a very large fridge and microwave provided. Good storage with 2 full cupboards to stow away our suitcases and shopping. The only niggly bit was the loud heating/cooling unit right beside our king size bed in the master bedroom. Would def recommend to others and am glad we took the advise of fellow friends who had stayed here before with their family.
