"Excellent Customer Service!"
I was in the gift shop looking for a particular item that I knew they stocked. It wasn't on the Shelf. The Supervisor William Davis was in the back area and the clerk called him and told him what I was looking for. He took the time to comb over the back for the item I wanted which he found. He went above and beyond!!!! Thank you again William!
"Will stay here again!"
Stayed here during the Rock n Roll marathon weekend. Overall great hotel. Loved that is was right on the strip and centrally located. Because it's a small boutique hotel you can be down on the the strip within a couple of minutes rather than taking forever to walk through a massive resort style hotel. After reading reviews here I did request a lower floor "quiet" room because we did not want to be kept awake with the rooftop club music. we were on floor 6 and on both Saturday and Sunday night of our stay could faintly hear the thumping of the club music but it was nothing to keep us awake, however I think if you are on the 8th or 9th floor it would be very annoying. The front desk staff and bellman were very friendly and helpful. The coffee machines on the 5th and 7th floor were awesome, didn't have to wait in line at a coffee shop! We ended up mostly gambling at this hotel and not going anywhere else to play. We throughly enjoyed our stay here and will be back!
"Probably won't stay here again."
We traveled with one other couple - we had made advanced request for rooms to be on the same floor and away from noise from the night club which is on the rooftop. Upon check-in, rooms were on different floors. We asked to be moved to the same floor and were told that they couldn't do that because they didn't have any clean rooms available to accommodate our request. This was at 4 p.m. which is check-in time so couldn't understand why rooms were not cleaned. We were advised that they would get something ready for us and let us know when we could get into a room. After waiting over an hour, we checked again and still nothing available. We opted to take a room on a different floor just so we could get into a room. We were told that 5th and 6th floors were the best bet for not hearing the noise from the night club. We ended up on the 5th floor and our friends on the 6th floor. Rooms were nice but need better lighting. And then came the noise when we were trying to sleep! The nightclub runs from around 11 p.m. until 4 a.m. The music and noise was so loud that we did not get any sleep the first night we were there. We had to go and buy earplugs to wear the rest of the time which helped drown out some of the noise. People going back to their rooms after the nightclub closed (around 4 a.m.) were also very loud. I would think there should be some guidelines in place for them to be quiet so as not to disturb people who are trying to sleep. I think the hotel needs to take a look at where to place people who are trying to avoid the noise and prefer to sleep at night!
"Thrown out of the casino for no reason. "Right to refuse service""
My friends and I waited at the bar for over 40 minutes for a drink while the bartender ignored us and only served who she chose to serve. So, we went to the other side of the bar and were serviced immediately by another bar tender. Once we sat down with our drinks she reported us to management and security came escorted us out of the casino for no reason. This was a horrible very embarrassing experience. I will never spend another dime at this place.
First time at the Cromwell and we loved it!! The rooms were great! The staff let us check in early and hold our bags after we checked out because we had a late flight that day. The location was perfect to everything we wanted to do and see. Highly recommended this place!
