I’ve have stayed at the Montcalm many a time, stunning hotel, amazing rooms, friendly staff. Especially Izabela the guest experience manager and all her team. They’re service goes beyond the norm! I will most definitely be staying again and I will be recommending this hotel to all of my friends. 5 star all the way!
"Hotel is minutes walking from Marble Arch underground"
We landed late on a Sunday and took a 10 minute cab ride from Paddington Station to the hotel. Workers were very friendly. We stayed on the fourth floor. It was spacious modern hotel Shower had a rain head in the ceiling. Took some playing around to figure out the complicated shower. Bed was very comfortable and firm as I like it. The room had air conditioning if we needed it. My only recommendation is not to eat in the restaurant for dinner. Extremely overpriced and food not that good. One evening my room mate was beat and insisted we eat there. For the price and value of the food - I am convinced we could have had a better meal at McDonalds. Hotel is about a 5 minute walk to Marble Arch Central Underground tube station. Would stay here again but not eat at the restaurant.
"Montcalm Marble Arch November 2017"
My recent stay has the Montcalm Marble Arch has been an excellent experience. It started before my arrival when I had an email from Izabela the hotel's Guest Experience Executive welcoming me to the hotel and offering any help or assistance I needed before check in. The hotel is very well placed being about 2 blocks back from Oxford Street (a 3 minute walk) and away from the busy traffic. On arrival I was impressed with the friendly helpful attitude of the concierge team and desk staff. Izabela took the time to come and meet me and showed me up to my room. This personal approach was very much appreciated. The room had good facilities and I was impressed with the cleanliness of the room and the hotel in general. Sound proofing was excellent and I was not disturbed by any external noise. The hotel has great facilities, but sadly I did not have any time to use these. I had a breakfast inclusive rate and I was impressed by the range and quality of the breakfast. Fresh fruits, sliced meats and cheeses, pastries, cereals and full English breakfast. A chef was on hand to cook eggs to order. In summary, a great hotel in a great location and my visit was made very special by Izabela's total professionalism. I have no hesitation in recommending the hotel.
"Terrible customer service"
I'd reserved on Booking.com and had selected pay at the hotel when I arrived. We noted that we would be checking in incredibly late, as we were coming from Western Canada. We were mid flight when the hotel called us, checking in to see if we were still coming as it was past the 3pm checkin. I didn't get the call, as I was mid flight. When I landed late at night, exhausted from the long trip, I received an email stating that my reservation had been canceled and that I had been charged for the room as a no show. I called the hotel from Heathrow, 4 of us standing on the side of the road waiting to get into the taxi queue, to find out not only had they given away my room, but they also were sold out. Here I was, a tourist on the side of the road with nowhere to go in a foreign country. I quickly called the London Royal Garden Hotel, another favourite of mine, and was able secure us two rooms even though it was 11pm. Not sure what happened or how this was allowed, but I was disappointed nonetheless. I'm sure it's a lovely hotel, but the customer service has tainted me from ever finding out. Tourists beware!

Well I must say that we stumbled upon this excellent hotel by accident, but were absolutely thrilled ! On arrival at 9 pm we were given a complimentary glass of bubbles , our car was whisked away and a charming young man, escorted us to our upgraded room choice , a stunning contemporary suite. Lots of lovely touches in the room including a 4 poster bed with twinkly star lights above !! We were given a complimentary bottle of prosecco in our room . Vera a very charming guest services manager , met us the following morning to make sure we had had an enjoyable stay and to ensure there was nothing they could have done better ! Well I will definitely return to this hotel, the surroundings , attentive staff, flowers !! And breakfast were just spot on !!
