On the whole, Parklane Hotel is a good hotel with good services and in an excellent location in Hong Kong for shopping and business with plenty of shops, MTR close to the hotel and the services at the counter are very good, especially the young lady called Cat at the Check in & Check out counter helped us a lot.Comment of W. My husband surprised me for our anniversary/Valentine/CNY celebration with a stay at the Park Lane Causeway Bay for 2 nights. The first night was availed through our complimentary night bring Accor members while the second night is at the king suite. Our experience was indeed wonderful. Bring an Accor member, we had a swift check in. Front desk staff, Rosanne, was very helpful. She went the extra mile and gave us a free upgrade from the classic to deluxe room, allowing us to enjoy more comfort. The next day, Thomas helped secure the king suite before lunch and we were able to move up and enjoy the plush room and executive lounge. We were so impressed with the facilities, the sheer size of the rooms (there's a living room, an extra toilet, a big tub, rainshower, etc). Rey also helped provide complimentary breakfast at Playt where food was superb. We were very touched with their gesture of providing wine, fruits and chocolates to help celebrate our anniversary as well. Thank you, Park Lane. We had one of our most enjoyable hotel stays. We hope to be back soon. Photos show the view from our room at the 22nd floor.
"Great location and worth paying for short stay"
Nice room with good view in a central Hong Kong island location. We usually stay in Tsim Sha Tsui area but this is better, we think. Slightly expensive but if you only have a few days in HK, it is worth paying the premium. We made plan to hike Dragon's Back, hence the decision to stay at Parklane. Hotel is just 3 mins walk to Causeway Bay MTR station and close to many eateries and shopping strips. Friendly frontline staff with good service culture. Do visit the rooftop bar for a drink, beautiful view of the harbour. We will definitely be back on our next trip to HK.
Great and friendly crew at Front Office to help me pass the flower to my girlfriend on valentine day. With a short notice but they able to help it in time, and update through email have the perfect ending. Well Done!
"Would definitely consider staying again if in HK"
Stayed two nights on the return trip from Australia to the UK. Got a taxi from the Airport (too many bags to get the metro), cost was approx HKD450, and took 50 minutes at 4pm. Reception area hectic - the hotel taxi queue seems to be used by people shopping at IKEA which is around the corner. Booked a Premium Deluxe Executive Room. No upgrade offered despite Accor Platinum status - check in clerk said hotel was full (even though I checked online whilst I was waiting to check in, and was able to book the Park Lane Suite which apparently was the next category up) - but I was too tired to argue the point. Room was on 22nd floor, same as Executive Lounge. Lovely refurbished room, nice welcoming plate of fruit due to Accor status. VERY comfortable bed and linen, and great blackout blinds. Some noise carry-through from adjoining rooms and hallway "walkbys" was the only audio infringement. Oh, and I requested different pillows for the bed and found the foam ones much more to my liking - so it pays to ask if you're not comfortable - the staff are certainly keen to help where possible. Lovely fluffy huge bath towels, and generous toiletries. Liked the complimentary "Freedy Phone" for wifi hot-spotting whilst out and about. Only part of the room that was a disappointment was the hair dryer - one of the wall-attached types which lacked a decent "blow" - took me almost half an hour to blow dry my hair. But I suppose this is a necessary response to stopping hotel guests from stealing hairdryers :( Used the Executive Lounge - found the staff to be very friendly. Lounge is quite small, and seemed to be almost at bursting point whenever we visited. Enjoyed Cocktail Hour once, and breakfast once during out two day stay. Decent offering of snacks during cocktail hour. And I liked the policy of no children in the Executive Lounge - definitely made a difference to the ambience. Check out experience in the Lounge also quick and easy, avoiding the busy ground floor area. Upon leaving and needing a taxi we faced the huge queue in the entrance, and despite the sign saying "hotel residents have priority", we waited for over half an hour with so many people infront of us in the queue clearly not residents - full with bags from IKEA shopping. Would definitely consider staying here again if in HK.
"Great refurb and an excellent business hotel"
The hotel and the refurb is great. The location is amazing, the restaurant choices incredible and the skye bar views perfect. The lobby however is like a train station and the usage of the lifts can become very annoying with so many people everywhere. The rooms are a great size for Hong Kong island and for the price it is the best option in the area. Service is excellent and it has some of the best room connectivity options I have ever seen in a hotel. Will definitely stay again.
