On the whole, Parklane Hotel is a good hotel with good services and in an excellent location in Hong Kong for shopping and business with plenty of shops, MTR close to the hotel and the services at the counter are very good, especially the young lady called Cat at the Check in & Check out counter helped us a lot.Comment of W. "Good hotel but with rude front desk staff"
The location is very good with everything you need all around the corner. (shopping, eating, grocery etc.) Very near MTR also. I'm an Accor member for more than 10years now but haven't come across a front desk Accor staff that is this rude. When I approach her asking for help to help me call a local phone number, she told me with frowning face to just call inside my room and pay for the phone call charges or just go outside and find a pay phone. I told her again that someone on the Accor staff yesterday already helped me called once on their phone and he said he will gladly help he again if I need to call again. But then again, this rude unfriendly lady staff insisted that I go out and find a pay phone even after I told her about me calling on the hotel phone yesterday( - other hotels in HK even provide free handy phone for their guests to use to call locally or internationally without charge). Parklane Hotel as a so called 5star hotel doesn't provide one! This kind of personnel is destroying the image/reputation of the hotel. She should be taught the right manner/conduct in dealing with a guest. Come to think of it, my request is just a phone call !! Parklane manager, teach your staff the right conduct. We always stay at your hotel for the past 5 years every year we go to Hk but this is the first time that we come across this matter, it disappoints me very much !
"I miss the old Park Lane in Hong Kong"
Park Lane, was my home in Hong Kong for many years. About Three years ago I stop to travel to Hong Kong, as often as I did in last twenty years. The lounge at 22nd floor, was the place to relax, avinho a nice cup of coffe or tea, in a very English style, with comfortable, sofas and cosy lounge. I spent two days last week, and of course I chose again the Park Lane. I couldn't believe what I saw, on the check in, everything was renovated, but unfortunately, looking very artificial, and lost the, the style and glamour. My room as usual on 22nd floor, was not real, A plastic decoration, stlyle IKEA. I went to lounge, and I was astonished, the change for a terrible poor decorativos, plastic sofas, not confortable at all. I had so many troubles with internet, they sent to my room several people to solve the problem, and only next day they fix it. The staff is really very kind and very professional, trying to make you feel well.
"Park Lane Sky Bar"
A must if you visit Hong Kong, the view and ambience is second to none! The drinks are expensive but in life you get what you pay for, the cocktails and attention of the staff are exemplary. Take the lift to the 27th floor and enjoy the views, they are breathtaking!!
I stay with family for 4 days at Park Lane Pullman. Overall very comfortable, cleanliness for room, helpful & accorhotels have priority check in. Location hotel around mall, food, supermarket and MTR causeway bay station.
"A great stay in the middle of Causeway Bay"
I have been staying here for three times during my business trips to Hong Kong, once in November 2016 and two times in May 2017. This hotel is located opposite the Victoria Park and surrounded by shopping malls. It's a great hotel for both business and leisure. There is a 24-hour supermarket next door, so you can easily grab what you need even in the middle of the night. Causeway Bay MTR station is just 200 meters away. Check-ins and check-outs were smooth so far. The staff are friendly and helpful. Some rooms have been renovated recently, but most of them are still under renovation. The bedrooms are spacious. The bathroom is also equipped with a bathtub. The amenities are great and the hotel also provides two big bottles of water (800ml each) - bigger than other hotels normally provide. The hotel also provides a mobile phone which you can use freely. It can be used as a personal hotspot when you're roaming around Hong Kong. Breakfast is great and you don't want to miss it, for sure. Overall it's a good stay, especially when you get a high-floor room facing the Victoria Park where you can enjoy a great view of the park and part of the harbour.
