Though we did not have a room stay we still were treated with outstanding service. Great feel to the entire property. My girlfriend had a great luxurious experience at the Spa. Everything was 1st class, and all the staff from the valet to bar tenders to management - all pay attention with welcoming genuine care. There is a constant attention to detail and upkeep of the property -
We spent 4 nights here to celebrate our anniversary. Received a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful suite upon check in. The entire property is serene with dark colors and Asian Spa-like flair. The pool deck is simple, elegant and very private. The lounges are the most comfortable we've had. What really makes this property stand out are the staff, service and highly personalized attention. Every staff person greeted us by name and most wished us a happy anniversary. We received several anniversary treats in our room as well. The entire property is spotless and the lack of dust amazed me given all of the dark blinds and wood features. Our room was always impeccably cleaned and turn down was perfection. We never once saw a housekeeper but their "stealthy" service was stellar. The rainfall shower was unbelievable- like a deluge spa shower! We enjoyed the convenience of electric blackout shades and appleTV. Our room always had a spa like smell which was so relaxing each time we returned to our cool and spotless room. The property vibe is low key yet hip but a very different hip vibe than at the W for instance. We like both properties for different reasons. The Setai excels at serenity and highly personal attention. We will return!
"Favorite in South Beach"
South Beach is SB, and the Setai does it perfectly. Elegant. Luxurious. Beautiful. Memorable. Will return next visit to Miami. Highly recommended. Two hundred is asking a lot of my time, but the hotel is exceptional
I'm speechless......its taken me days to think of this review. On arrival we was served with cold flannels and lemongrass tea, we were personally shown to our room. Everyone in the hotel knew our name whilst we stayed there, such a personal touch. The room was outstanding including room service, I've never stayed in a hotel where you would shower and change for dinner then come back to the room and all the towels have been changed, the bed turned down and slippers left at the side of your bed. Small messages and chocolates were left every night too. Pool was amazing even the poolside food. Breakfast outstanding. Tried the restaurant on our last night as recommended by the manager, absolutely stunning food. From arriving at this hotel to leaving we were treated so well. One of the managers Kirk took time out to spend time with us, show us round and engaged in lengthy conversations which we appreciated so much. This hotel made our trip to Miami extra special, it was an unforgettable experience
"Beautiful hotel, amazing staff"
Last week, my wife and I enjoyed an amazing vacation at The Setai to celebrate her birthday. Not only is this landmark hotel aesthetically pleasing, the staff was beyond compare. Let me start with the welcome at the door by Boris, who constantly went beyond to accommodate the slightest wishes. I would also like to point out the amazing breakfast buffet and the service with a smile every morning. At the concierge desk, Seth provided us with great recommendations for a rainy day and when we had a tiny bad experience at the neighboring Cleo restaurant, he and the concierge team made sure their management was notified and addressed the issue. Because of them we will go back to another one of our favorites. I would also like to mention the housekeeping and in-room dining staff for beautifully displaying gifts sent by friends and family. Our time at the Grill was always fun and pleasant with delicious cocktails served by David and Daniella on many occasions including while watching the Champions League Final. Sadly it was not the score we were hoping for, but the great atmosphere allowed us to quickly forget the outcome of the match. In the evening, the Courtyard was always the best place for us to relax in the good care of the very attentive Amina. The One Group calls it "exceeding expectations", but no one did it better than the Setai Staff. Danny Meyer identifies a Hospitality Quotient (along the lines of IQ and EQ) and in my humble opinion, everyone at the Setai possesses an extremely high level of HQ. We can't wait to go back.
