"A Class Act"
I spent two nights at the Westin Lima and was treated like royalty from the moment I stepped into the lobby until I checked out. My room on the 25th floor was modern and spacious and very clean and the view was amazing. I was particularly impressed with the bathroom. It had a deep soaking tub, double sinks and a separate shower. The staff was extremely professional and went out of their way to make me feel at home.
"Enjoyable if you don´t mind the cost"
I was in the Hotel because of a Convention being held there. Otherwise I probably would not have stayed there because it was expensive. However, the room was a corner room with a very complete view of the traffic and the surrounding area. Don´t expect to go anywhere in a hurry. It seemed to be one continual traffic jam. Unless you want to walk. Even though the stated temperature was '' OK, it felt chilly, due, I am told, to the high humidity level. The Hotel was very pleasant and the free buffet breakfast very good. In spite of the buffet and its self service implications, the waiters were very attentive. I would mention in particular Luis Herrera who on my last day when I was not feeling well, fetched and carried all I needed for my breakfast. The hotel staff also took great care of me on that last day helping me finish packing and getting me into a cab to the airport, which is at least 1 to 11/2 hours away. Don´t leave it late getting to the airport. A friend in Lima told me of the ride to the airport taking 5 hours-she nearly missed the plane ! All in all very enjoyable and the Convention in the hotel was well run and well served with food coffee and drinks.
"Luxurious hotel where rooms and bathrooms are spacious"
I recently stayed at the Westin Lima Hotel & Convention Center for five days. My time there was extremely enjoyable. The property is quite new and trendy. It gives you the feeling of a luxurious boutique hotel, though it is one of Starwood's main brands. The room was quite spacious and pleasant for a long stay. The comfort of the mattresses and pillows at Westin hotels is already a known. However, what stood out for this particular property was the big spaces in the room. A separate walk-in closet, a full bath with a bathtub and a standalone shower, two sinks and the toilet being separate behind a glass door. The room had floor to ceiling windows that provided a full view of the traffic in Lima. It was quite easy to get taxis or Ubers in the property. There is a convenience store located right before the elevators, which was quite convenient for my brother and I. They had everything we needed, included the needed pills to tolerate the altitude heading into Cusco after our visit in Lima. This is not your averaged priced hotel, but the amenities and room comfort make up for it. I would definitely stay here again.
My wife and I enjoyed 3 nights at this new and modern Westin after a Amazon safari. The hotel is suburb and what a relief it was to once again experience the comfort of those Westin beds. We enjoyed a very roomy corner deluxe room and we couldn’t have been happier. Note, this hotel is away from the main tourist sites but that didn’t matter to us. Once again, Westin has lived up to our expectations. Admittedly, It is a reasonably expensive option but you get what you pay for.
"beautuful, comfortable and reliable"
room of high qualité, spacious, comfortable. Bar and restaurants are offering as well international type of drinks and meals than local. Personnel is dedicated and keen on informations and help. Overall I was greatly satisfied.
