"Beautiful and luxurious place"
Tivoli resort in Bahia The faciliteis are splendid: it's an area of 300 000sq meters and there are only around 280 apartments very comfortable. The food is very good breakfast and dinner is included. They have excellent swimming pools around 5. Is located on a marvelous beach and the best is that you can walk around and feel safe which is totally impossible in Rio. What should be improved: things to do: there is boat ride to see the wales but you have to pau extra for it. And it is expensive. I have been on many boat ride and I even know how to sale but this day because of a stupid captain I thought we were going to die. He was racing as a cray nut until I and another passenger asked him to reduce the speed! So that was not a joyful ride. We saw some wales but by then it was not funny! The problem is that you have to pay a lot for any activity.
Great staff. Fantastic food. Super nice pools and beach area. Lots of activities for kids and adults. Room's are slightly pricey and so is transportation. Would go back again for sure and highly recommend to families
The resort is an amazing surprise! It is perfect for family vacation for kids or a romantic couple trip. The place is huge and many pools around it. There is one specific for adults with an unbelievable view. The spas is really nice with all beauty treatment and you can relax it leaving your kids with resort's nanny. The hotel is one kilometer walking towards a village where you can find good restaurants and shops as well as the projeto TAMAR!
"Wet week in June"
After coming from the Nannai (amazing) in Porto de Galinhas and the Miramar Rio (same marketing group and again amazing) this trip was disappointing. I just could not see the value and too many little things, lack of detail meant I would not come back. Lots of small things - like magnetic key cards not working, key cards for towels at £1,000 a day hotel - who wants a towel', key cards for baby products. The hotel is quite old, check in was slow, the staff seem quite sad and the place is so huge it's a bit soulless. It didn't help because we came in June and it rains A LOT but the resort was empty and I just could not see the value. On a positive the gym is big, the baby sitter was good, the mosquitos were dealt with and the gardens were nice but that's about it.
