"Amazing Trump Soho"
We were a group and we booked 20 rooms at the Trump Soho - the Conference Services Manager and her staff were prompt and very professional. The hotel overall design and amenities are amazing - and the views of NYC from the rooms are breathtaking!
"My go to hotel in NYC"
I have been staying at Trump Soho for 5 years and would be unlikely to go elsewhere. From the doorman who knows my face and name to the location and convenience of everything in the local area, this hotel actually feels like home. Prices vary during different times of the year, so be wise and wait if the prices seem too high. I waited a few weeks for my last stay and the price dropped by a 3rd. Well worth finding a way to stay at Trump Soho. Highly recommended.
"Really nice hotel - the best view ever!"
I really love Trump Soho. Best view, nice and friendly staff and really good location. I have stayed there 10 times now. The sleeping quality is the best you get with really good beds, good TV and movies.
"Weekend in Soho"
Located on Spring street, five minutes walk to soho shopping, eight minutes to Tribeca and 10 minutes to NYU , it has an excellent location. Hotel is modern with good size rooms, high end toiletries, Nespresso machine and unobstructed views. That said, it seemed a bit tired, furniture looked worn, specially the woodwork. The wifi which I paid $14 was slow. The location of the air-condition vent was horrible because the AC was hitting my head the whole night (not sure if it was only my room or all the rooms have this problem). Service was very good, staff was friendly and overall I had a good experience. The breakfast menu was limited for somebody with Gluten issues and very expensive. The rooftop pool had a nice ambiance and the spa was excellent. ( read my review on trip advisor for the spa).
As a frequent visitor to NYC for both work and pleasure I have stayed in many of the "best" hotels around town. The Trump Soho is my favorite and I'm hard pressed to look elsewhere anymore. I've probably spent 30 nights in the hotel in the past few months and each stay just gets better. The rooms are all top notch, with my favorite being those in the corner locations with two walls of windows. They do vary in size and layout, so it's worth investigating a bit ahead of time if you're the picky type...as most folks staying at this level of hotel tend to be. Ultra luxurious with great amenities and high tech conveniences. It's a bit silly I suppose, but pushing a little button next to the bed in the morning to open up the curtains and give you your first view of the city for the day is something that always delights me. The service is first class and operating on a different level than many other luxury brands at similar price points. Anticipating needs, responding to any request in short order, genuine warmth, etc...they knock the cover off the ball at every step. I had a very high maintenance request one evening to try and stream a pay per view fight from my computer to the TV in the room. They immediately sent a very friendly engineer to the room who spent an hour helping me get things set up properly, no charge and very friendly/professional service. The concierge has also been able to snag very difficult dinner reservations on short notice, no small feat in NYC. Little stuff like that really adds up for me while spending so much time on the road. The gym and pool area are very nice, and a genuinely relaxing respite from the mayhem of the city. I've not taken advantage of the spa but would expect it to be equally great and intend to partake at some point. The only thing I've found to be less than excellent is the room service. It's priced sky high as you'd expect, which is fine, but doesn't live up to the experience the rest of the hotel delivers. I don't expect too much from any room service, but simple things like a cheeseburger or a shake for dessert shouldn't be too difficult to master. For whatever reason I've been less than satisfied on the couple times I ordered, maybe just an off night or two. Fortunately there's dozens of world class restaurants within a stones throw of the hotel so you're unlikely to go hungry. I can't say enough good things about the hotel and intend to be a frequent guest whenever I'm in the city.
