DISAPPOINTING Stayed for 3 nights. Arrived back in room after 1st night to find large amount of water on floor,we were advised that w would need to move rooms so had to pack and move. We noticed a note in the lift coming up to our room advising that there would be a power outage the next day but understood that it probs wouldn't impact us too much......woke up at 8.00am with no AC '.....then noticed no WIFI or lights or power of any sort '....opened door to corridors and found pitch blackness '....used phone torch to make way to the lifts....they were not working either!!.....went back to room and tried calling reception from room phone but no luck....not working either!! We had been depending on using WIFI to communicate via our phones to others during our stay.....decided to make our way down the fire escape stairs from our 13th floor room.....found that there was no lighting at all in the escape stairwell,couldn't see a thing.....once again used our phones for light to make our way down......I won't bore you with the details of trying to have breakfast by candlelight but I was not impressed that there was no back up generator power.....at the very least we should of had power/light in the stairwell.....all of the guests I saw and heard that morning were very very unhappy.....one guest at the front counter was wanting to go back to her room on the 15th floor to retrieve something from her bags and was given a candle and told she would have to use the stairs.....unbelievable!! One staff member was seen to be laughing at the guests and the 'duty manager' as unavailable to talk too. Definitely won't be back......Hotel has a duty of care to provide a safe environment.

This was my 2nd Business Trip to Sao Paulo and stayed in this same hotel. The experience for 2nd time was horrible. First of all they gave me room with 2 single beds after a hard discussion and told them I would leave and not check in they gave me a room with double bed. Ordered a dinner in room from the hotel restaurant found women's hair ! Spoke to them and they apologises. Could not sleep in the room there seems to be rats / mice in the ceiling cutting wood or something all over the night. I will think twice before booking this hotel again. though the location is in safe neighbourhood if you want to say close to a shopping centre.
"Worst front desk and hotel ever"
AC not working and front desk did not care!! A cockcroach in my room!! Three days without AC! Do not even think about going to this hotel. Meliá hotels should take note because is the last time with this hotel chain for me and the company I represent. You just lost a very good customer which gave you some good nights every month!
"Good location,nice room and breakfast"
We stayed in this hotel during a weekend and got a ice room good bed all aminities etc but the air conditioning was very loud we had to shut it off for sleep and then it gots warm in the room. As well the bathroom sink was not letting water out .. Breakfast was included and is great internet connection works good and the shower has good quantity of water and is warm Overall i go back but will check air conditioning before
"No working AC"
My husband went on business and stayed from Monday to Thursday. He arrived late on Monday so when he got into the room and AC was not working he waited until Tuesday morning to request repair service. They moved him to another room... that night when he came back from meetings, the AC was out .. AGAIN..!!! He went to complain and they moved him to another room... the new room did not have any working AC neither...!! So when he asked for the manager, he was told that the did not have any other rooms available and there was nothing they could do to service the AC... So he asked for a floor fan... The did not have those either...!!! So he had to endure three hot and uncomfortable nights and the attitude of the managers and service people... Horrible experience ! Don't bother going to this hotel... they don't care ...
