Had the most amazing time at Taj Vivanta . Overlooking the arabian sea it offers the most luxurious stay . It offers everything from ballrooms to restaurants, spa, pool, gym, bar. There are 170 rooms. Each room features modish interiors and it fitted with modern amenities.
"Baby friendly. Great Location. Average Food and Rooms."
We stayed at the resort with our 8 month old son. All baby food they cooked was on the house. :) They provide you with a baby cot if you request in advance. Location: Superb. With the waves lashing at the Fort Aguada turret and the beach a stone's throw away. Rooms: Not 5 star material. And I'm not blaming the condensation. It was a pretty ordinary one having basic facilities. Reminded me of a Club Mahindra property I had visited in Ganapatipule. It's good but not definitely worth 5 star. Grounds: Beautifully maintained. Our favourite was the lush greenery overlooking the sea near 'Fish-Tail'-at one end of the property. It was secluded, it being the monsoon, and the birds were in song and the flowers were in bloom. Do make sure to visit the other Vivanta by Taj nearby (Holiday Village)-which has lush and beautiful grounds too. If you are a nature lover, you must spend some time in this Taj property grounds. Service: Polite and courteous. And quick. Food: Average. The breakfast buffet at Caravela at Holiday Village was much better-you get free rides to the Holiday Village Taj.
"Excellent location, excellent property"
It is probably the best location in North Goa. Essentially the feel of South Goa in North Goa. Imagine sitting in patio, lush garden in front of you and watching sea waves. Kids simply love this place. Holiday Village Taj is bigger and more quaint property. Taj Fort Agauda is more happening property. Both are inter connected and you can enjoy amenities at both places. Hospitality is supreme. Attendants and chef went out of way to make your stay awesome. We always wanted to try Goan cuisine, but since we are vegetarians, we always had limited choices. Chef Manoj Pandey went out of way to ensure that we have delightful Goan Veg meal. One minor point of dissatisfaction was check-in experience. We booked through goibibo and check-in time mentioned was 12 PM. Upon arrival we were told in very curt language that check-in time is 2 PM and they are not responsible if a 'travel agent' is making false claim. I found this excuse very strange. If check in time is 2 PM, they should mention it 2 PM on all sites from where they are accepting booking. It is not a guest's fault. Also it will be better if they serve drinks upon arrival. It is common courtesy offered by every decent hotel. Imagine arriving to hotel and waiting for almost 2 hours without being offered even glass of water.
"Feel a bit of South Goa, but still in North Goa."
Great Resort, good food, good people, great ambience. Almost all rooms are sea facing or have and opening to the lawn which faces the sea, but the upper floors have a great direct sea view which is like wow.
Stayed here for 3 nights ...it was a perfect holiday . The staff was really welcoming especially the front office manager Abdul...he not only upgraded us but also allowed us a late check out, which was much appreciated. The villa was beautiful and so comfortable and we really enjoyed the garden with the hammock and the sea view. The pool was relaxing and loved the bar by the pool as well as the service at the coffee shop ..which was par excellence . the spa was also a great experience ...got a facial done there and it was just great.
