"Small but incredibly nice. Good hotel if plan to visit Sentosa."
I think we were upgraded to a better room because they weren't able to give us a twin bed room. Rooms are not rectangular but it surprisingly provides more space. The view was street view but no noise from the roads. Every corner in this hotel is artistically designed. The breakfast restaurant is small but staff are exceptionally warm too! They prepare your choice of eggs and hash browns upon your choice, make sure to serve fresh. It's actually a 10-min walk from the MRT, provided that you came out of the right exit. It took us 15 mins to find the way with the luggage though, and it'll take some time to find the hotel entrance. It's surrounded by very good local food places, like the tiny food street next to the hotel, and Tiong Bahru which was just 5 mins away. I regret that I didn't plan much time for Tiong Bahru --- it's such a beautiful historical place with truly love food and local prices! Ask the front desk staff for help. They are so nice that o thought I was in a BnB instead of a hotel. One of the staff that helped me a lot was Kevin Seah. He suggested shops to eat from his own opinions, which were never introduced elsewhere. It was such a nice chat time with him and other helpful staff.
"Tries hard, but misses that mark"
My wife and i stayed here for 3 days and whilst they tried hard, there were just a number of small things that just didn,t work for us. It started on arrival, where we were the only ones checking in on Saturday afternoon, yet there was only one person o reception, and they were too busy answering telephone enquiries and questions then to process us. We ended up asking him to concerntrate on us - as we were standing in front of him and to forget the phones for 5 minutes. Next was the room. Nice for a single business traveller, or like us, a loved up couple, but having the toilet behind a glass door, does leave little to the imagination, and tha decor whilst modern and confortable, just didnt jel. The restaurant upstairs is great and the food is fantastic. Definitely the best part of this hotel. they try hard, but just not quite right.
Kelvin at the reception truly is the ambassador to this hotel.... Friendly, professional, enthusiastic and eager to give you all the information you need! Cristo in the restaurant is also a key advisor, courteous and always smiling making sure that everything is to your liking. Amazing breakfast, lot's of food and great staff
"Friendly and very helpful staff"
We recently stayed at the Wangz Hotel. Our accommodation was clean & comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Kelvin, Del & Bryan in particular were great. We recommend the Wangz to those looking for very good, yet reasonably priced accommodation.
"Quality Boutique Hotel for business traveller"
Very good hotel, as the first contact when you walk in the door, Kelvin is professional, energetic and very helpful. The rooms are very good, beds comfortable, water pressure in the shower is strong and air-conditioning works perfectly. The breakfast in the rooftop is all you really need, I'm not a fan of the big buffet, so to get a freeshly cooked poached egg, cereal, yoghurt, fresh fruit is great for a healthy start. The biggest problem is the lack of pool, but I'm willing to forgive that because overall my stay was very good!
