This hotel is located by the riverside and is a 5 minute walk to the day/night market and Pub st. My room was clean and a fair size with wood floors and air conditioning and a balcony with chairs and table . The staff were very eager to please and ensured you had anything you needed. Breakfast was included and you had a choice of western or Asian style or both as it was a buffet with eggs made to order. Larger display of fruit and other food. All of it fresh
"Best Hotel of our whole trip"
What a pleasant change. Not your average tourist type hotel but a wood panelled old fashioned place with tons of atmosphere. Even the ceilings were panelled in carved and polished wood. The room was huge with a large balcony overlooking the river.A very comfortable massive bed and good air conditioning (a must). We stayed 5 nights of which two were during the 2 day water festival, a real must see. Both days ended with a music concert on a stage approx 50m from our 2nd floor (of 8) room and the management apologised for the expected noise but said it was set to stop at 11pm by local by law but it was 1am first night and 3am the second and very very loud. We just thought well its their festival and we're the visitors and got on with it.Only ate breakfasts in the hotel and as with all Vietnam/Cambodia hotels they seem un able to keep stuff like bacon etc hot. The selection for breakfast was big enough to work around that. Very helpfull staff, great location near all thats going on. We'd recommend this hotel to anyone.
Stayed here for a few nights, overall appearance of the hotel was nice, staff where really friendly although our first morning there we went for breakfast and it was not ready. Another morning were told not enough guest for them to have buffet breakfast (very average food) but were offered to order straight of restaurant menu which was good. Room had a river view with balcony and was very spacious. The bed was very hard for our liking although all hotels we stayed at in Cambodia had this problem. Bathroom design seemed quite old for a recently built hotel and shower curtain did not work (very dirty on the bottom). Location is good as within walking distant to markets/pub street approx 8-10 min no need to pay the overpriced tuk tuks that sit outside the hotel.
"Noisy like hell"
The Hotel located in a terrible noisy area. Windows vibrating like if bombers approaching. Impossible to stay there. If you have a chance just stay away. This is terror, not accommodation. Worst experience ever.
"Great service and peaceful atmosphere"
I have stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and that experience was amazing. The staff was very friendly and they were eager to help customers. There is a pick up service from the airport, so I didn't need to worry about hiring taxi. It was also very easy to go out to the night market and pub street as the hotel was located just walking distance from there. The room was pretty and I loved the wooden design in the whole building. I just wanted to have a clean shower curtain without mould at the bottom. I had a great massage at the spa as well. The quality of cocktails at the bar was also wonderful. I would like to recommend other people to stay at this hotel.
