"Art deco elegance close to the Old Market Square"
A truly stunning hotel in a good and relatively quiet location. Service, food and rooms all top notch. The Imperial Cafe served excellent food both during the day/ evening and at breakfast. The breakfast buffet was good and delicious. You definitely need to reserve a table in the evening, particularly if you like to eat in the early part of the evening. The only downside, as written in a previous review, is that the shower is over the bath and it can be rather difficult to climb over the top of the bath, which is high, and even more difficult to get out and I am 5 feet 8 inches. This would be my first choice for accomodation next time I am in Orague.
"Almost too good to share!"
I just adored this hotel - and if you are any type of Art Deco buff you will be in total heaven. While the clientele seems to be mainly older folks, I wouldn't let that stop you from staying here. The restaurant and breakfast area is so beautiful, as is the foyer and public areas. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a suite, so had a huge room with a separate living area. the decor of the room was elegant and luxurious and they had excellent, good quality pillows. The reception staff are brilliant and the service was first-class in the restaurant (we had both dinner and breakfast there - they even have champers on the breakfast buffet!). It is perfectly located an easy walk to the old Town with a couple of large shopping malls around the corner and for me is in the best part of the city - central, but not tourist hectic I've stayed in Prague many times as I am Czech by heritage and I return to this hotel in a heartbeat.
My daughter and I loved the Art Deco Imperial, actually couldn't fault it, extremely clean and excellent service in great surroundings. In fact the restaurant was the No.1 attraction in Prague..... due to the Art Deco architecture, maybe one criticism was the restaurant was fully booked in the evening for our entire three day stay.....however breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended
"Beautiful art deco hotel in good location"
Despite being a hotel that caters to tour groups, this hotel impressed us with it's service, decor, cleanliness and service. Concierge is very helpful. While not right in the center of the old city, it is within easy walking distance and near many little restaurants. The hotel restaurant is actually very good, and many of our fellow travelers had dinner there more than once without disappointment.
"book it now!"
we spent just few days in Prague and it was magic, not only because of the city, the beer and the monument, but thanks to the experience we had in this hotel. Considering the price you'll be paying, I'd recommend to book a room here. It's in the center sithout being in a chaotic street, the service is excellent and the room are super clean, with big windows, very well maintained and accessible to any kind of optional, from the light in the wardrobe (which turns on if you open the panes), to the laundry. If you happen to be vegan or have any kind of special request for your breakfast, just let them know and they'll make you happy no matter what, The staff is very professional but friendly at the same time. We wanted to visit Brno after and they asked as if they could help us booking the train tickets for us! Amazing!
