"A great find"
A small traditional boutique hotel near the centre of Paris. Easy distance to main attractions and near the airport shuttle. Rooms are very traditional old style French , and well furnished . Bathroom was old style and simple but functional. Free wifi was good enough for FaceTime. Breakfast is very nice and fresh petit patisserie and eggs are nicely cooked to order. A great place to stay if you prefer smaller and more intimate hotels and the location is excellent.
"wonderful stay at Hotel Le Lavoisier"
My wife and I stayed at this hotel about two weeks ago. We couldn't have been more pleased. The room wasn't huge, but big enough for a comfortable stay. It was very clean and had a nice balcony with a street view (also very affordable for Paris). The staff couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. Vanessa recommended a great crepe restaurant called "Crepe Avenue" with we loved. As others have stated, this hotel was very centrally located. Finding a metro stop, restaurant or shopping option was a breeze. This was our first trip to Paris and we will definitely stay at the Hotel Le Lavoisier upon our return.
"Lovely hotel, good price"
I stayed in this hotel during the Euros, close to the subway and nearby lots of little brasseries which were great for the day. Unfortunately couldn't really find any bars that were close for the evenings. 3 of us shared a room which was quite large and the sofa bed was in its own little room. Honesty bar downstairs in the library not well sign posted but great for a few beers!
"Nice hotel and comfortable beds"
Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The shower / bathroom was ok but could do with being upgraded. The key isnt ideal with the keyring it comes with but this can be left at reception which is 24h. Location is very good. All in all a great stay.
"Excellent Location in Paris, friendly staff that treats you like family."
We spent 8 nights in September here. The room with a balcony was too small for us, so they offered us two other options. We ended up with a room facing the street, which was a nice size for European standards. Yes, there was some noise from the street if you wish to keep the windows open. However what better way to enjoy the rain while you are sleeping. And if you are a light sleeper, then close windows (which provide a good sound insulation) and use the A/C. Or choose a room in the back facing other buildings. All rooms are very clean, with marble baths and daily change of linens and towels. There is a good size supermarket just around the corner, called Monoprix, where you can buy everything you need for a nice meal. Unbelievable choice of cheeses, deli meats, alcohol, fruits and veggies. Not to speak about freashly-baked breakfast pastries and bread. And then the location. I should have started my review with it. Very nice area, perfectly safe for walking even at night. Within 10-15 min you can walk to Champs Elysee, Galerie Lafayette, Louvre, several Metro stations and so on. We didn't have full breakfast at the hotel. Three mornings we had coffee and croissants which were good if you need to get going. However, if you have time, do yourself a favor and go across the street to Comptoir (40 Blvd Malesherbes). Awesome omlettes, excellent capuccino and a happy hour 5-8PM. The place was full at night too. I want to end my review by saying thank you to the wonderful staff that treated us like family. Thank you Ludwig, Nisha, Riadh and Elisa. You made our stay in Paris an unforgettable one. We'll be back again.
