Petit Palace Plaza del Carmen is situated in a quiet street of Plaza del Carmen, a few minutes from the famous street Gran Via.
This hotel is the perfect place to explore the city's famous sights such as Puerta del Sol, Palacio Real, Catedral de la Almudena or Plaza Mayor.

Comment of G. "A lovely very central hotel"
We spent four nights in this hotel and were very pleased with it. The staff were great ( especially Vanessa in the breakfast room who could not have been more friendly or helpful), the location is excellent being very central and within walking distance of most of the attractions. We had booked room only but added breakfast each day as it was so nice. Would stay here again. The only drawback was that the hotel and especially the breakfast room which is in the basement were VERY overheated.
"Great stay, best location, excellent service and staff."
The location is perfect, wright in the center of the city. The rooms with small balcony (to the front of the hotel) are very nice. In my previous stay i got a rear side without any view at all. The staff are very good and friendly. Buffet breakfast is very good.
"Birthday Girls holiday surprise"
A five day four night stay what a fantastic supprise, flew into Madrid from Edinburgh then took the metro into Madrid so easy. The metro easy to navigate cost to our metro station Gran Via and a 4min walk to the hotel, were we were greeted by the lovely Miranda, who quickly signed us in and give us a quick guide to local sights around Madrid. Room clean and tidy bathroom well stocked hairdryer and the normal shampoos and conditioning, toothbrush and shaver, TV on the wall facing bed one downside no option for tea or coffee in the room does have a good stocked fridge. Just across the Plaza Carthere is a little Taco restaurant made famous by Obama visited Madrid they are queuing out the door every night. Madrid is a great for the walkers every place is in easy walking distance from the Hotel. Burn Retiro Park the lake if you would like a bit of excerise in a rowing boat, which takes you to the Palio de Cristal just Fantastic cost nothing. Cerralbo Museum not a large museum but just outstanding €3 for along as you like. Walking back from the museum through Plaza de Espana giving a wave to Don Quixote and genital walk to the Plaza de Oriente and the Palace. Need something to eat try Trattoria Malatesta And wait for it an Italian restaurant ha ha, the area around the restaurant has a number of good places to eat and drink. Best till last Mercado de San Miguel Tappas and copious amounts of fabulous Rioja. What we liked best, well from the moment we stepped on Spanish soil this trip did not disappoint everything as my lady would say absolutely FANTAKKA *******
"Excellent location, brilliant staff"
The location was perfect. On a previous visit to Madrid, we had a poorer time, in many ways, due to the less favourable location. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The girls helped us to sort out trips and visits (their pros and cons proving extremely accurate!). The included breakfast was nicely local and a very good way to start the day. The only slight downside was that the room was small. However, it did have all amenities.
"A delightful stay"
We booked two rooms, one for the grandparents and the other for a family of four. The breakfast was really nice, the staff were very friendly and helpful in booking tourist sites such as the football stadium tour and the hop-on hop-off bus tour. All staff had a good command of English. The hotel was in a good central location and was tastefully decorated throughout. A much better alternative than the mass market corporate set ups. The room was clean with a large shower and plenty of space for the family of four. A nice sized bathroom as well. We travelled in Half Term week with next to no queuing for the major tourist sites such as the Royal Palace and the football ground tour. The Reina Sofia Museum was a great venue too as the children enjoyed the modern art by artists such as Picasso. Very colourful.
