"Very good hotel, matches expectations"
The rooms are rather big and so we could spend 2 nights there with our 2 boys (3 and 5 years old), without being squeezed in at all. Therefore the price is absolutely fair, also compared to other similar hotels in HK. The staff is absolutely friendly and supportive, the service is marvelous. Omly the matresses are very firm, but this is a given in Asia, unfortunately....
"Nothing Short of "Wow""
I am admittedly a tough grader, but a recent stay here in Hong Kong leaves me with nothing to say other than to give this hotel my highest compliment! We arrived early (9 am) on a flight from Boston through LAX and we were exhausted. Check-in was a breeze, we were shown right to our room -- and a lovely one it was. We had been upgraded to the Executive floor, with a stunning view of the harbor, on the 33rd floor. Room was ultra-modern, lovely view, comfortable furnishings and really really nice marble bathroom with a separate shower and tub (love it). I am an executive platinum member but was staying on points, so one is never sure what kind of room they may get when using points, even with status. I was impressed. The executive lounge here is one of the best I have seen at a Marriott. Food was outstanding, very diverse and plentiful. Full bar as well. Great desserts and plenty of water. Breakfast buffet was outstanding. We were also really impressed with the hotel itself. The interior is modern, beautifully designed and absolutely immaculate. The facilities are also diverse and accommodating. There is a really good upscale Chinese restaurant and also a great buffet restaurant on the 4th floor. We also really enjoyed a live singing group in the lounge with delicious cocktails! The hotel is in a good location in the central district in the Island of Hong Kong. We walked everywhere but taxis were also easy to get st the hotel. My husband and kids ride me for being "tough to please" and I don't disagree when it comes to travel. I am on the road for business almost 100 nights a year, so when I do travel for pleasure I really want to feel like I got what I expected. At the JW Marriott I got that and much more. I would absolutely stay here again!
We stayed here for 5 nights. Since the airline had lost our baggage , I was a little stressed. But, both the airline and the hotel resolved the issue professionally and with the least stress. The room was located on a higher floor, as requested with fabulous view of hongkong city. Rooms well stocked with all amenities and toiletries. Iron n board , coffee machine, electronic safe, Bose docking station etc. Our housekeeper took great care of us. Cleaned , arranged and replenished all items in our room daily. The best part of this hotel is , it is centrally located and well connected. The elevator connects you directly to the mall and the MTR is just hop skip and jump away. The airport also has shuttle buses that drop you off at doorstep of the hotel from Hongkong station. Great restaurants and buffet. Would certainly recommend this hotel for all travellers visiting Hongkong.
"Great stay during Christmas Eve"
As a Marriott Gold member, I was quickly whisk up to the Club lounge for check in, room was upgraded to a Suite and all the usual amenities (lounge access and breakfast) was included. Service is great, and during the Christmas Eve night, they were distributing presents, and goodies for the kids. Rooms are huge and clean. They also provide a shuttle every 30 mins to the train station.
"Perfect location to explore Hong Kong"
We were here for 2 nights, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We received a pleasant upgrade upon arrival to a corner suite, and loved the city view, comfortable beds and impeccable service. Concierge went out of their way to assist in our sightseeing inquiries, housekeeping was top notch, and check-in/check-out was a breeze.
