"Love staying here"
The link city is so beautiful and we visit all the time. Every time we do we stay at park & suites. It's so close to everything and easy to find your way around from here. The pool is awesome, especially in winter and the staff are super friendly and accomodating. The price is great and the rooms are nice. The only downside was that the gym equipment needs an upgrade, but if you need a workout you can always just get in the pool! :)
"Impressive but for a few quibbles!"
Stayed one night after landing at the airport. You could see the hotel from the airport - but it proved difficult to get to. The hotel had plenty of free parking and looked impressive. Helpful staff but we got in the lift and were assailed by a nasty smell, this continued in the hall area on the second floor. It must be something to do with the cleaning products they use! The room was fabulous - in fact it was a small functional suite, with small kitchen/lounge ( which included crockery, microwave, pans etc.). There was a convertible sofa and this had a sliding door into the double bedroom. The bathroom had a bath AND a separate shower cubicle. There was also a separate toilet cubicle, unfortunately, the door handle on the inside had been broken by previous clients The breakfast was in a pleasant dining room and was excellent. If there had been more than one tea bag and some milk in the room's hospitality tray plus a usable toilet door handle it would have got an excellent, but still good vale for money. We landed on a Sunday night, when it's difficult to find anywhere to eat. There is a very good Chinese buffet if you take the the turning which is immediately to the left of the hotel entrance - remembering your in France!
This would have been a 4/5 rating however the poor attitude of the staff is the reason for the low rating. Unhelpful and arrogant to say the least. We discovered that the aircon was not working and went to ask if there was anything they could do and were told that it has been switched off for the winter (It was almost 20 degrees today!) There is a very busy road alongside and their only solution was 'open the window'. This has not been the only occasion where queries or requests have been dismissed in such a way - almost like it is a joke to them that something should be right - not what you expect from a 4 star hotel. It seems they rely on the constant airport trade so do not have to try to be helpful.
Looked after well, lovely food, close to airport, easy to find. The room was fantastic. Actually to call it a room would be a dis-service. It was more like an apartment. You could live in one of these apartments for months at a time. Mine had a bedroom, a bathroom, a toilet room, a living room/kitchen and even a small hall. The kitchen was fully fitted with all items I'd expect to have at home.
"Not a 4* hotel"
This is not a bad hotel, we have stayed here before but I wouldn't rate it 4*. The bed was very low and not as comfortable as we remembered. There was a little kitchenette but I wouldn't have wanted to try and cook in it. We were left a couple of sachets of coffee when we checked in but these were never replaced so had to go and buy some. The bathroom was small and the shower rather claustrophobic - the loo had such a dull bulb in it you had to feel around for the loo roll. We wanted to use the laundry but there are just two washers and two driers, not good when the staff wash the towels in there, this caused a long wait. There was also a nasty smell of rotten cabbages in the lift one day! Saying all this it was comfortable enough, the pool (although we didn't use it) looked nice and the staff were friendly. There is plenty of parking places, It is close to a couple of nice restaurants, plus a coffee shop round the corner where we had breakfast very cheaply. The tram is close and gets you right into Toulouse with no fuss.
